why no one seems to see how weird this is. she married her daughter's father in law
It was so odd to me that absolutely nobody pointed out how weird and odd that dynamic actually is. If MY mom or MY father had broken up with my spouse's parent in the past and then have the audacity to propose to them at OUR wedding, literally their childrens' wedding? I'm sorry, but I'd kick my dad's ass. That's not even touching on how nasty it is that this makes the two of them step-siblings retroactively. A lot of the characters were hardly characters. Chad Michael Murry could've not even been in the movie, Miranda Cosgrove just kinda floated around at random and the groom was hardly even a character. It feels like it was written by an AI.
Right! The writer could’ve AT LEAST made the FIL some type of uncle of the groom. I came to RUclips to see if anyone else felt the same after watching it on Netflix. It’s just so damn weird to me.
No likable or relatable characters, I’m still trying to understand how they passed this movie through.
I kept seeing Caitlin Jenner in Brook shields. I could not get past it. The acting was so bad.
the part shields says, hello was funny. also, the beach scene is funny when they run into the ocean. i liked the movie but expected more comedy then what it had
Sounds like it’s worth a watch if you’re in a mood for this kind of movie which I’m never am.
I thought the movie was very sweet. I enjoyed watching it. I laughed out loud in a few scenes and I felt completely embarrassed in others is very cheesy and I enjoyed that. we all know it’s not gonna win an Oscars. But I’m happy I watched it. Great review!
Hello David here I been a movie buff for over fifty years and I thought the movie was pretty good. Nice to see Brooksie. as l like to call her. I can’t believe she is 58 years old, it really shows that time is going fast! As to the movie over all it was well done, Kind like a short vacation, but what I have noticed in the last few years is Hollywood really likes to show wealthy people in exotic locations. I hope they don’t forget about regular people too. I give it 🍿🍿🍿popcorn boxes. One of my favorite romantic comedy movies is The Wedding Singer!

Textbook 90s/00s style romcom, they are having a resurgence, unoriginal, brings absolutely nothing new to the table, predictable, cliche and cringy. Recommended only for the genre fanatics or if you are in the mood for something that you wanna be watching while finishing your report for tomorrow as it requires close to 0 concentration to follow. 5/10

I think it's actually geared twords boomers who want to feel Younger. It mostly focused on Benjamin bratt and brooke shields characters. And those actors are boomers really . I would have rather it focused more on Miranda Cosgrove and sean teales character
