So the story of catcher Freeman, I didn’t know was something based off of a true story until years later after I moved to Maryland. You have to look it up it’s based off of a true character. No one that a lot of us probably have heard of, but he supposedly did a lot of great things. My motherwas a schoolteacher in the Prince Georges counties school district, and there were stories that were told by the teachers to the students about an indigenous freedom fighter liberating his people therefore, a.k.a. catcher Freeman
