Tribotextil™ is an extremely thin and very strong textile that in this process replaces lubricants in the tool and also protects the stamping tools from wear and coatings.
The more you go easy on your back gauges, the longer they will maintain alignments based on what location you program. Sounds like someone who’s worked on a machine with really shitty stops. Causes dimensional issues

It's a base/holder for a sign. Previously was 2 peices welded together, we programmed to bend complete and eliminate the welding. There is one final flattening operation not pictured.

You could buy one custom punch and die set side by side with a sash like the one you're using and do that in only 3 hits. Might save lots of time

depends on the tolerance. I do it sometimes. But I know what the parts are used for.
You're totally correct, but tolerances on this part are super-loose, not an issue for this one.
