- Lady Gaga performs Poker Face during her Jazz & Piano Residency at the (Dolby Live) MGM Park in Las Vegas September 6, 2023.
Normally I only post Metallica videos, but since the second show in Phoenix was rescheduled, my USA turned into a full Holiday.
While in Vegas I attended the Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano concert where she mainly plays Jazz and Crooner songs, but also several of her hits like Poker Face. In this Jazz version of the song she explains the song and adds some funny alteration to the lyrics 😄

I’m not even a big Gaga fan but this is fantastic! She has a such a phenomenal powerful voice, she’s one of THEE best performers of all time & she’s hilarious 😂! Gaga looks extra gorgeous here too! The full package! You had amazing seats, I would love to see more videos from this show 😍
Saw this pop up on my shorts list. I had a similar experience once at a musical. It was Avenue Q, I was seated near these two girls, I’d say middle school age. And for those who don’t know, this musical is like an R rated Sesame Street. During one of the songs I noticed them look at the parents that must have brought them and they were gone after intermission. The kicker is: there were signs warning about adult themes in the show.
They always ignore the warning signs and then get mad at the ones putting the show on 😂😂😂😂

I love me some Gaga but I’ve always been more of a Lana fan, but I have to admit I think Lana was jealous of Gaga n not so much them having beef n I feel like if Lana could’ve just not been jealous they probably would’ve collaborated n made something awesome, I sadly was not a fan of the Charlie angels song she did with Miley n was it Ariana grande? I’m glad that other ppl loved it but just wasn’t my cup of tea
Look up the albums _Cheek to Cheek_ and _Love for Sale._ They're jazz duet albums she and Tony Bennett did together.
I don't know if she's done any other jazz albums, but she definitely should.

She was at a concert in Dallas her monster ball tour yes ages ago lol anyway I was sitting in nosebleed and right in front me was a family a mom and 2 kids dressed in their fine nines!! Suits and dresses and here i was wearing a nice shirt and nice jeans i looked at the family and went what are they doing here??? While the rest of us where partying the family were sitting down doing nothing at all! Just sitting! Things that make you go hmmm

@@jackgoff4859Sometimes it's all they can afford. Sometimes it is the only seats left. Sometimes you come as a guest of someone with season tickets and because you're in a wheelchair and I did not call ahead to arrange appropriate accommodations, this is where they put you so that you're not in the way. That is an actual experience I had when I went to catch a Bulls game at the United Center. Fortunately, the wheelchair wasn't permanent (about 3-4 months) and the client felt so ashamed that he signed the contract immediately. But at the time, I was devastated and completely demoralized. I also got wedged in my hotel room between the cooling unit and bed my first day in the wheelchair. So, I just sat there crying until the person who shared the room with me rescued me three hours later. Although, it was only temporary, I have a great deal of empathy for those people with mobility issues.

I’m a fan, this is not a critic, she’s a very talented woman, she sings very well, but nowadays (in some perfomances) I feel she's clearly not singing with her natural voice. And not natural is not pleasant. She’s over-singing. Screaming doesn't make you the greatest singer. Doing those over-the-top extensive notes that you can hold on for a whole minute doesn't mean you're the greatest singer. Using that nasal voice is the most forced thing I've ever heard from Gaga. She's doing it for a long time now and it still sounds very unnatural. I remember that Paparazzi performance where not only she bleeds her heart out, but also her emotions in her voice. I go back to her amazing Speechless and Imagine performances. And I'm wondering, of course her voice has grown, but is it growing in a good way? Where is her vocal coach so I can be convinced of these choices? I just wish you, Gaga, could chill, sing your heart out with no worries, because you're clearly still trying to make a point. No need to do that anymore, it's about being happy and singing whatever you feel like. You don't need to showcase that much, you alone with no gimmicks or vocals techniques you think will impress (but don't) are amazing already. It has been a harsh, and very nasal sometimes in recent years (Westfield for example) I miss “The Fame” vocals on that album are so soft and flawless and she performs with ease on that album. Especially when she used to perform at festivals (Oxygen, Glastonbury, T in the Park, Summer Sonic) Anyway, this isn’t a critic, I’m a super fan, but sometimes, less is more.
Yeah, this is exactly why I wouldn't go see her nor listen to her music. I have severe ptsd to s*xual content, so it's a no. But, it is funny how she reacted to bringing kids to her show.
