This was exceptional, well done, so much story conveyed in such a short time- Hollywood would have taken hours to get this much emotion and drama into a film, this was perfect.
Such an intelligent way to shine a light on a very important story. Leaving us to image is so much more powerful. Incredible actors, too. Thank you for this masterpiece.
The glaring reality of situation that the fisherman and the wife share - while leaving the viewer the opportunity to dream of various alternative scenarios (realistic or unrealistic) - one of my favorite types of endings. Thanks for the tears.
The reality of displaced people on the move and 'compassion fatigue' of re-settlement countries - closing their borders = left to the 'mercy' of the sea and the random compassion of strangers. Most ordinary working people have far more heart than politicians.
So much distress in this sad world... The strangest things are too believable. This touched my heart. "Lord Jesus, You Who passed through walls into a locked room of those You loved, there are no boundaries for You! Answer the heart-cries of all those in grief and pain; console them with Your listening ear and gentle voice! Come soon to take Your children out of this dark place, and bring us into our Father's House! Amen."
I live on the Mediterranean Sea in North Africa, I use to get up in the morning and look at the beautiful Sea and drink my coffee. Now, I don’t want to see it or get in it for some years now. Sometimes people come floating up dead, all it brings is pain now.
Javier Marco he visto el corto nuevamente y es asombrosa la simpleza del relato de algo tan conmovedor, que esta ocurriendo ahora, mientras escribo esto. Te felicito por tu obra nuevamente. Alberto De la Cruz
i think it's about the people who died (some with children) in the sea using illegal way to cross it to the other country on the boat so they can live a better life. the cell phone is one of their belongs.
Muy bueno, excelente !!! en unos pocos minutos todo el drama super actual de las migraciones obligadas por el ambre. los que se van en busqueda y los que quedan esperando. Felicitaciones desde Bahia Blanca Republica Argentina
I did not like. Placing drama on a fishermen is selfish. Fishermen have enough drama and problems and they should be left alone from the drama of land people.
Apparent;y you fail to understand that this is a fiction, a make believe- these are not people acting in real life. Actors make films, there are thousand of films but they are not real life
I'm just at the very beginning, I'd rather not watch it if there's drama and PROBLEMS 🥺😰 I only want rainbows and fairy tales to deal with... Had enough real life drama for several life times since my childhood 😅 I'm joyful and all but not another minute to waste on anxiety sources 🥵😱...... We know these are actors thank you 😉 but still, I agree with the 1st comment! Enjoy...... 🎊😋👍
Captured an event that occurs worldwide in a personal, human rights breathtaking story! Brava!!!
Extremely well made, and well acted - really cuts through to the emotional core of this issue. Thank you for making this film.

Well done, terrific acting; truly a reflection of our times.
I wish I could stand and clap to this production! Congratulations!
Masterfully done.
Well, now I'm crying. Thanks.
Excellent slice-of-life short story. Well done.
Ihave seenso many excellent short films, each with its own message, and each incredibly relevant and aften touching. But this is the cream!
Obligado a mentir para mantener viva una esperanza. Qué locura. Excelente corto.
Masterfully done.

The ocean can give people new beginnings and take them away, too. I hope you can find beauty again, in your ocean.
@@LSshines Thank you for your kind words, I hope I do too!
