Fantastic, mature tone and precision from a middle school group. Very tasteful approach from percussion. Clearly some great teaching and a great system in place.
Mad respect to whoever's playing crash cymbals on this... back in my middle school days that part was tough to play well and with good blend into the band. So impressive
What high school does the feed? I would think at this point they could play the easier grade 5 pieces..Chester Overture, The Holst Suites for Military band In two years I cant imagine they could not tackle some of the Grade 6 pieces..The Pines of Rome, Don Juan maybe even The Firebird
Stiles is split between Vista Ridge and Rouse. Vista Ridge actually did Chester Overture this past Spring. They also did Til Eulenspiegel in 2019, the Hindemith Symphony in 2018 and Scheherazade in 2017.
@@takigan Thanks for the info As I said before, from what I see here Stiles could play Chester. I have heard Vista Ridge play Till Eulenspiegel I have not heard Rouse Has Stiles ever won Honor band? I cant imagine they are not in the top 5 consistently

Warm balanced sound, good intonation, clear articulation, smoothing running notes in the counter melody. A thoroughly enjoyable performance. 🎉

It's not amazing. It's simply what can happen with the proper support. Kudos to the community for such a tremendous support for its art programs.
