It did actually work. The first time when I unanchored, some parts did fall off, which made the whole mech fall, so I had to use the scale tool to move the blocks inside the ones that it was attached to. And it worked the second time.

Just a tip add some support blocks/ make some blocks around the feet than turn it transparent so that it can be harder to fall
