Celibidache, Wand, Jochum = "The Best", and not in any order. Wand seems to have the more clear modern engineered technical sound (and drum rolls), Jochum the depth and passion, and Celibidache is Celibidache! He owns No. 4.
Frankly, I am not big fan of those conductors you mentioned, especially Celibidache. This Bruckner 9 recording by Jochum is a splendid exception, as I do not like (but respect) the way, he did almost all Bruckner Symphonies and No.9 in particular. My best of the best for No.9 are Furtwangler, Walter, Matacic, Barenboim and Skrowaczewski (Baden-Baden recording, issued by Abruckner.com)

Could not agree more, Jochum and Furtwangler are for me the best Bruckner conductor. And Jochum version are so marvelous.
