I’ve been looking for one to use on the Bimini of my inflatable kayak to run my electric motor. Thanks Mark

Interesting application. Will need a power station to complete the setup. Thanks for commenting

If I ever converted my classic 66 beetle to electric, a smaller panel like that would be something I would consider putting on the top of my car. I could definitely see using this on a tear drop trailer. ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️

Pretty snazzy. That would be an awesome idea for boats too.
I don’t know why solar panels for portable devices aren’t always at least highly resistant to rain. I mean it’s something you always leave outside for extended periods and may not be around to easily put it away in case it rains.

You would think so. The hard shell glass ones RVers use are waterproof but most of the fold-up style are barely water resistant. Thanks for commenting Jim

G'day Mark, well it certainly addresses the ingress protection issue, which is the highest priority IMO.
However, I dont see why they coundn't do the same as a rigid flat panel version.
As is, I'm think'n tied to a tent, perhaps tarp or gazebo, roof, with a favorable orientation. Though in fairness, on a vehicle, one could easily adjust the aspect at will.
I wonder if it increases or decreases the temp underneath ? i.e. on the one hand it's black and meant to absorb, but on the other, it would inherently shade whatever surface its attached to. Cheers Duke.

They do have a few other panels including a semi-rigid and a bi-facial panel but they did not have them in 200W when they contacted me. I would have preferred the semi-rigid. Thanks for commenting Duke

I have the Anker C1000 also and have considered the Yuma CIGS. It’s an amazing panel;however, its open circuit voltage (VOC) is 30.4 +/- 5%. The C1000 has a max of 60V on the charge controller so wiring 2 of these in series exceeds the 60V limitation and could cause damage. I can’t seem to find a workable combination to use more than a single panel.

I am certainly no electronics expert but you could consider connecting them in parallel. The voltage would remain the same and the amperage would double. I believe the C1000 should be able to handle that. Thanks for commenting

Mark, I bought my Yuma last October, after I watched a video in which the man started by firing five 9mm shots through the panel. He then proceeded to test (and further abuse) the panel. To test it, I hung my panel from the railing on my deck, facing south. even with the non-ideal alignment with the sun, I was getting just over 160 watts into my Ecoflow Delta 2. For camping, I tied the panel (grommet type) on the roof of may trailer and ran the cable inside to charge the unit. It worked beautifully.
Would it work with your panel to cut two pieces of acrylic or polycarbonate, say 3mm thick, to match the two end peal-and-stick sections, plus 3/4" past each side, and stick them to the ends? You could drill holes in the parts that extend past the panel to add cords or bungees to attach it to your vehicle. This would still allow you to roll up the panel. I made a fabric bag to hold mine when it's not in use.

Wow. Great testimony for the Yuma. Don't think I will cut mine in half but I will be drilling holes around the outside. Thanks for commenting

Hi Mark, are you still drinking chaga, birch polypore, artist conk, turkey tails as a mix? Have you noticed anything with regards to health benefits?

Yes, I am . Not on an everyday basis. Mostly when I feel the need to boost my immune system. I do feel it helps but does not replace staying healthy with diet and exercise.
