    I live in palm beach florida. Going into my second week. And I've done 9 jobs. You have to be careful with the calender because you can get double booked if you're not careful. I'm a full-time welder/fabricator and it's been a little overwhelming. I dint think I would get so much work. I've had to set my schedule to limit the amount of jobs so I don't burn myself out.... set a 2hr minimum and don't go below 30 an hour. Be clean, happy, friendly and helpful and you'll always get a tip. But the app limits to 25%tip so make sure you have cash app or similar

    Hello, do you need to have a c10 license for minor electrical work ? Like replacing outlets or ceiling fans?

    • @ChrisBassettTV
      @ChrisBassettTV  5 месяцев назад +1

      The specific requirements for licensing and permits for electrical work can vary depending on your location. In some areas, minor electrical work like replacing outlets or ceiling fans may not require a license, while in other areas it might. It's always best to check with your local building department or authority to understand the regulations in your area.

    When theres a task and it has a to b on map do you drive to a than to b or just to a and than whoever tasker is drop you off back at a location i chose to be hands thats why im asking

      You would have to talk to the person that hired you for the task for specific instructions. More than likely you are moving something from A to B. They might ask if you have a moving truck or if they have a moving truck available you could ask for a ride

    Do you really have to have licenses for tasks room measurements, interior design, deliveries?

    • @ChrisBassettTV
      @ChrisBassettTV  2 года назад

      No, you don’t “have” to have them, it’s just a way to show customers you have more experience/professionalism then other competitive taskers

    Do you collect and remit the sales tax or they do it for you?

    • @ChrisBassettTV
      @ChrisBassettTV  Год назад +1

      You operate as an independent contractor. You would have to save your receipt for your taxes and bill the customer for expenses. Task Rabbit is only a platform advertise your service to connect with customers. They take a fee for advertising basically

      Hey Mike! I live in the Des Moines, Iowa area and business was incredibly slow. I have since focused on other side jobs… there is a lot of conflicting opinions. I’ve heard location makes a huge difference with customers

    What if the client refuses to pay?

    • @ChrisBassettTV
      @ChrisBassettTV  2 года назад +1

      What exactly do you mean? Client doesn’t pay the entire amount? Additional time? Extra supplies? I’ve never personally had a problem with payment. Invoice and payment are paid directly from taskrabbit. There is a customer service system on the app you could contact to deal with problems

      just ran into this recent issue, the person who hired me refused to pay. I was only supposed to work for an hour but ended being 2 hours. I sent an invoice for 2 hours and client refused to pay. I have proof of the work done. If they refuse to pay you can submit a review on the job and within 5 business days they will review it and task rabbit should pay you if approved. I would take precautions and have proof to cover your ass in case. Still waiting on approval from task rabbit to get paid.
