Carolina fell apart, has nothing to do with Krieder who is a cherry picker and scored those goals from way out of the crease. That was a gift from Carolina.
Canes will probably be a 1.5 goal favorites in the first game of ECF….
Kreider's ability to deflect pucks past a goalie never ceases to amaze me. I believe he is the greatest in the league at it. GOD Bless Chris, our RANGERS and all of our fellow Fans!

I think the addition of Jonathan Quick was a great stabilizing influence on this team, in the past we have not been able to find a way to right the ship and over come the struggles. They kind of just collapsed, but Quick seems to have provided the leadership this team definitely needed.

Wayne Gretzky scored three consecutive goals in a six-minute span of the second period of Game No. 4 against Florida, 1997. Rangers won four straight after getting shut out in the first game. Esa Tikkanen scored both OT goals in the series. It was a fun ride that year until they met the Legion of Doom in Round No. 3.
I remember that run. It was fun. Every year is different. I was most worried about Florida all year, so soon it might be happening.

Huge kudos to Kreider and the team for stepping up when it mattered. I was nervous but knew that they’d come through. Canes’ margin of error was zero with three games down. As long as Igor plays this way we will always have a chance. Our defense deteriorated the last few games so hopefully we can tighten that up. Fox does not look like himself so hopefully everyone can get rested and ready for their next series.
Chris Kreider - That suit jacket worn by Chris at the postgame presser was doing overtime...it didn't fit 🤣! The seams were fighting for their life to stay attached! 😂
I forget how built the players are a lot but I saw a pic of Kreids, Panarin, Goodrow, and Wennberg after last night's game and it reminded me just how much muscle these guys have. Bread had a full loaf on his bicep.
I said before the game, if they are true contenders, they'll find a way to win game 6. Didn't feel great in the 2nd, I said they need to show us something in the 3rd. And boy they flipped a switch in the 3rd! That was a team effort and push, led by an elevated Kreider.
Way to go boys, well done.

A lot of us love Kreids. Fact remains after playing a terrible Washington team and having the game of his life he’s sitting at a -2 this year. He’s been negative the last 3 post seasons and is a career -10. I hope they win the cup
What did I just witness? This team needs to win the cup to legitimize this moment in team lore!
I have always been a critic of Kreider only because many times he appeared to be coasting through games. Even with his terrific stats in 2022-23, my thoughts were that he has been capable of so much more in clutch games. Last night he finally decided to take charge and impose his will.
Don’t underestimate Roslivic contribution tonight he was great 2 secondary assists on krieders first he stayed with it when he got pinned on the boards and got the puck to Mika and on the winner he collected the miss by Mika kept it alive and handed off to lindgren. He’s not the flashiest or best player but both those goals don’t happen without his fight and hustle he showed up in the 3rd
Good observations on Roslovic. He had a "bounce back" game after a miserable performance in Game Five. My criticism of him since joining the Rangers has been the same when he was with Winnipeg -- plays too soft in big games and is a space cadet at times, as evidenced by the "fly by" on Orlov Monday, and not gaining the redline before dumping the puck in last night. The ensuing defensive zone faceoff was lost and then Carolina did what they do best -- cause chaos.
The whole line created those goals. Of course Kreider deserves credit but no more than Z and R.
They had me scared there for a little bit, I won't lie 😅
How can anyone say we haven't seen adversity this year? Have they watched any games or paid attention to anything?
They certainly faced their fair share of adversity, and they handled it beautifully. They've always managed to bounce back and stay on track. They had a phenomenal year.
Let's hope this continues thru to the Cup, but it's a long road ahead.

Great Win!! Where the hell was this in games 4-5 ? I gave up on them at 3-1 like everyone else. But wow what an exciting end . I just can’t believe it. Now we watch the disappointment they give us in the next round. Let’s Go Rangers
Kreider is a HERO. THE RANGERS OVERCAME ADVERSITY... They did something awesome... but I think Florida in the next round will he an even bigger test.... it will get harder each step of the way. I think Florida is tougher than the Canes, and I'm predicting the Stars out of the west which may be even tougher than Florida as the stars are DEEP. But it was good that we faced some adversity and came out on top and we are advancing.
And on a side note, nothing was more enjoyable than listening to the Cane's Biased tnt announcers loseing their bearings when their bets all started crumbling, and their analytics became rubbish hahah. That was so enjoyable. The announcers even commented on Carolinas "swag" in the second period at one point..😂😂😂😂😂😂

Great win and Kreider stepped up huge. But, let's not get crazy comparing him to the best players in the league. He's one of the best dirty-area players and is very good defensively. But, he doesn't have elite skill. No matter, let's keep it rolling, and if they're going to do it, Kreider will have to be a big part of it.
Kreider is the Adam Graves of this team. Graves didn't have elite skill but was a great "dirty" area goal scorer.
Yet by the time he retires he will be number 1 on every single record for the Rangers. 🙄🙄🙄
The biggest flaw in Kreider's game is the same as when he entered the league: inaccurate shot flying down the wing or else he'd be around 40 goals, year after year.
