I feel like 1050ti deserves a legendary status like the 750ti for helping all the gamers through the mining times. The only reason I got a 1050ti was because mining was at its peak and all amd cards were overpriced af.
...same here! It may not be much today for gaming but you can still mine Ravencoin and Ethereum Classic in 12/2020 with it. Just sayin'.
Damn these imacs with intel graphics...
Amd Radeon RX 570 is a very good graphic card
Lmao, in Russia the prices of cards are still high af and haven't dropped since the mining times
@@goodgamershow6505 That’s cause mining is huge again now
For those who don't want to see the all video, for some reason.
Conclusion: Yes i can still play with the 1050Ti

At good graphics or just ok graphics
Edit: nvm
Is it still working now?
but it has a problem with the red dead redemption 2
Looks inbetween (if you overclock) a 570 8gb n a 580 4gb. Pretty good.

I used to Play Skyrim at 50% resolution scale 800 x 600 Lowest ( 12 - 35 FPS) on 2020
Now I play it at 720p Medium\Hight getting 40 FPS, Slowly upgrading

I rememeber laughing at my friend for saying that card is better than 980ti
well, from Wish off course
Is it better?
Yeah a lot of people think the 1050Ti is better than the 980 / Ti
I got countless comments saying that in my 980 videos xD
I too laugh at your friend
In reality, the 980 are comparable to a GTX 1060 6GB in terms of performance.
Original: 980Ti, which is actually much more powerful than the 980 and 1060 6gb.
It's really refreshing to watch a benchmark video with someone actually playing the game live and also playing the games well.
I only trust opinions from fellow gamers. If you are just running game benchmarks and posting results, then your not giving us the best test. This guy is good. His entire channel is worth it.
Actually really surprised at how well this runs honestly
Le 1050ti 4gb is a little beast, its 4-5 years old by now and still is going pretty strong for that age. Even cyperpunk can be playable.
@@TheCustomFHD that’s a joke right ?
@@aroholic2757 no, i have that card and welp, can basically trow anything at it and it will be playable (yes sure low settings but whatever.)
@_. yes, yes it can. I personally have around 70fps with Low settings at 1080p. xWormsx did a Video about it btw. And well, he got way better results then me.
@_. If you like cars, id recommend to look into BeamNG.drive(not a link, youtube did something wrong here.), it is more difficult to control and everything, but defenetivly more Realistic. With some Mods (BeamMP) you can even play Multiplayer. Anyways, no problem 👍.

your acctualy really funny keep it up and you explain stuff really well
For everyone who's looking to buy a 1050 ti, I wouldnt recommend paying over $75-80 for it. For that price you can get an RX 570 which performs better 100% of the time.
I feel gross if I have to pay more than $70. I take a shower afterwards
Like a few days I grabbed a 1050ti for $70....but on the way I grabbed a 1060 3gb for $75. Following day I grabbed a gtx 970 for $50. Much better lol.
Neither of the former are too great a deal if I can find RX 570 and 580 for $70-120.
I got the 1050Ti OC for $150 and the 570 is like $160-$180,, but it still requires a power connector for most variants! Aside, I don't know if 570 supports encoding via AMF for video editing!
@@avisheksharma8276 Power connector ain't the bigger issue , the bigger issues are higher temps than the 1050ti, 1060s and the 150W power consumption . Even the 1650S requires a power connector but the power consumption is mere 100W which is pretty okayish as per today's standards
@@stevesmith1383 Where do you find those prices? I got a friend who's trying to build a rig for himself but he only has $400. Being able to get a GPU on that kind of price would help him a lot.

I almost bought a 1050 Ti a couple years ago but it seemed like I'd see 770s and even occasionally even a 970 for cheaper. Definitely a borderline legendary card.
770 is deservingly cheaper, it does perform, but like much of other nVidia cards it's too crippled by its VRAM and API/driver problems to really be a useable card unless you're giving it to your little kid or something. Because mainly, while 1050ti 4gb is only barely enough for 1080 (and basically only just barely because 1060/1650s/5500XT is all the old standard of GTX 980 4gb performance) and only just because it's a weak enough card you wouldn't be getting high settings to exceed the VRAM anyway, the 770 2gb is just so gimped on its VRAM that even the games you can run are going to get stutters and possibly crashing from its usual nVidia VRAM problem, and honestly this is much more offensive when Applevidia does it to their midrange to high cards like 70's and 70ti's. I expect to have crippled VRAM on a 50ti; I don't expect my 70 to not last at all just because of its shitty VRAM limitations, which if nVidia wanted to cheap out on that they need to pass the savings to me, not upcharge me.
I'd say lots of nVidia consumers are just really unhappy and unsatisfied at this point unless they literally don't know anything at all about PC gaming. Like 770 2gb isn't the only thing, 3.5gb 970 still works although frankly you'd might as well get a used 980 instead (at this point just get a 980ti 6gb) but it goes all the way to 3070 8gb which is fine, it's double the VRAM of a 980, but the problem is it *should* be gaming at 1440p but it doesn't, it cannot despite being 4k capable like the 2080ti, just because of its crippled VRAM. That again, if nVidia passed those savings onto me wouldn't be a big deal, but they fucking upcharge me literally DOUBLE the price, a 70 series should be like $400, it's twice that now. And they still cut corners on the VRAM. And I still can't recommend a 770 even with the extra 4gb because it can't even run Vulkan, and so imo 10 series and 900 are more the minimum where after that you start getting bad API driver problems on nVidia.
They age like milk because nVidia doesn't support their own product and artificially mods it to break down in 2-4 years. So basically unless it's an 80ti expect nVidia to not be well playable on games made 6 years after its release unless you fiddle with settings.
Bro you earned a sub just for reading the comments and answering them! +1

As an owner of a 1050 Ti, I'd say it's pretty good, even being able to run Oculus VR at a decent fps (if you're okay with stuttering, which I know most people are not), it suffers HARD from only having 4GB of VRam, but it is overall a solid performer.

I set up a parts list and started working, I put in a 3700x as he said it was an editing build with light gaming on the side and I ended up putting this card AS A FILLER so I could find a better card, he ordered the parts list when I said not to... so now this is exactly the system he is running. I feel bad cause I know he won't be able to get crazy FPS in more demanding games like I originally planned.
P.S. by filler I mean for the parts list, not for him to order. I only had it and I planned to loop back to it later on in the build and change to something better.
love your video. until know still using 1050TI just look exactly like you test in this video
1050 ti was my introduction to PC gaming. I plan to upgrade from it in early 2022.
i just reverted back to my 1050 ti and i don’t regret it
from what?
Yeah why revert

wormz is the only guy that doesnt run over people in videos games
I got the same strix version 1050 Ti, although in 2021 the cards price went up by a 100 euros, so be ready for prices ranged from 200 to 300 euros
well the new drivers and titles really puahed this card to the end of its life cycle. i mean its 4 years old card and tbh it still is holding well. but i gotta replace mine probably with 2060 or 5600xt
I play apex legends on 1050ti(not over clocked) on low settings for me the game runs great at 100-135 fps, in some areas it does drop to 90 fps but not below that so, I have capped it at 90fps. For me it is playable and runs fine for me. I would not recommend this GPU as you could get a better one but you should wait for the GPU prices to drop. I had thought of upgrading my GPU but seeing the prices my 1050ti will have to serve me till the price start dropping.
Me too.I will upgrade to RTX 3060 in 2026. LOL
Hey man! Please provide us with the settings in the nvidia control panel
We love your videos!
Just got this as a Christmas gift since my old gpu was a GT1030
Same. This GPU is a beast.
This card gives me 40+ fps in 1080p. I really Love this card !!!!
yep but in warzone if you play on high or medium 30-40
Same! I own a laptop with an i5 9800H and a 1050TI, it fits in my budget and is perfect for on the go gaming. The division, r6, Hyperscape, Fortnite everything runs perfectly without any noticiable lag at 1080p medium. (and mind you it is a laptop after all). pretty good value for money!
He’s saying he doesn’t like 40 fps my broke ass being amazed by 30 FPS
So I have to keep it ?
Welp, Im Using Laptop So Theres No Way I Can Upgrade My GPU, But Still This Video Is Awesome That See GTX 1050 Ti Is Running Games :D
4 years ago I slapped a 1050 Ti in my prebuild computer. Now I am building a completely new machine, but I'm sticking with the old 1050 Ti just because it's impossible to get the card I want at MSRP (either the 3060 or 3070). Hopefully I can hold on to the 1050 Ti for a little bit, and maybe sometime in the summer I can get a good deal on a 3060 or 3070... But I'm losing hope that it will be that soon :(
Same, the 1050ti is even better than my other MSI R9 280X , gonna wait till the shortages start getting better and I'll buy a 1660 TI or a 2060
I Can't Afford but Watching 😇
