What a gift that in the 90ies videos and clips already were of decent quality so that this and other great moments in music history have been preserved and we can enjoy them a quarter of a century later as if it was yesterday! Mariah is undoubtedly one of the great voices of the nineties, together with Whitney and Celine.

Maybe cut the lower notes more and keep the high notes more on the vids. You are skipping the big important notes at the end. Anyway, I do think this is her toughest song yet. Maybe not her toughest in the sense of high notes but control wise it is her toughest. The breathy notes in the beginning and when she goes low she went really low and the big high notes, I think she hit 3 F5 and countless D5 & E5 at the end all in a matter of like 20 seconds and immediately after hitting all those big notes completely goes low breathy vocals. Gosh, what a tough song. Mariah also struggles a lot with this song.

I can honestly say that the best version of this song was by MORISSETTE AMON LAMAR from the Philippines, I know people will try to shoot me down but you put the two vocals side by side and MORISSETTES is the most complete, consistent more resonant, her tone also is 2nd to none, I would love to have seen Mariah in her prime try and take on any MORISSETTE originals I think it would be very difficult for her because she is a beast of an ARTIST that people all over the world need to recognise 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
Morissette is a great singer but she's a try hard and doesn't have a phenomenal musical ear like Mariah. Mariah's version will always be the best simply because she wrote it and custom made it to fit her voice. Plus it's literally about one of her most passionate love stories.
