4:08 I used to live right in one of those houses to the left and I can say it was absolutely awesome to stand on the fence and watch the Warrnambool service go flying past
@@griffonboi I don't think so for the foreseeable future. The track improvements will allow many more services without the extra expense of a second bridge over the breakwater. 👍😀

What are those double tracks that show up at the start just before the bridge? Edit: Nevermind this @taitset video was literally in my recommended videos next to this one heh ruclips.net/user/shorts6kduAGfbx7U?si=7PUI24AQrViUiIrU
Hopefully, it's not too long after Vlocitys start running between Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool, that you are able to get footage and upload it to youtube. Vlocitys will start running before the end of the year.
Why did you go in platform 3? I thought they'd never used that one at the station! I was down there myself last sat the 14th! I could've come for a ride with you had i not driven nor done a presentation down there at deakin uni! 😢
@@driver667 cheeky! :D yes that's true altho I wouldn't have known what train you were driving had I'd been there. I'd finished around 2:30 - 3 pm that day, so after that I went down and visited a friend prior to getting home b4 7 pm!
Have an interest in rail signalling and always keep an eye out for them on my rail travels. Signal videos are most welcome. Remember, as a kid sticking my head out the window of the red rattlers and watching the signal change as the front of the train went past it
Another Great video Nice tunnel too
Very happy to hear you enjoyed the video 👍 😀

@@STYtrainspotter2007 it's great to live near the line and watch the action from the deck. 👌👍😀
Interesting that you can be shifted on either side rather than have to stick to one, depending on direction. The quirks of V-Line, I suppose.

Most ideal thing found in this video is the duplicated track.
Two lines are better than one. (old railway proverb)🤓

Still single track between South Geelong and Marshall though, wonder if it was descoped or planned to be built in the future

I like the idea of signal info but would find it much more educational if you could explain what they mean to the driver.
Basically they mean avoiding a horrible accident.😊
