what a humble and honest dude talking about the discomfort of simply doing an interview. comes to show that now matter how badass an actor is to put theirself out there for their craft, they still have their insecurities. I find that more humanizing than tabloid bs.
This was one of the best interviews I have seen with Jim Parsons. Some of the interviewers are so into themselves that it takes away from their guest. Jim seems very comfortable with George and the repartee is smooth and guileless.
This was one of the greatest celebrity interviews I've ever seen. The host was trying to get us to see the core of Jim Parsons with the question about his favorite childhood memory and stuff like that. I really liked it, Jim just seems like a really sweet man and thats kinda comforting.
I think Jim Parsons is the sweetest man, I watch all the shows, and even watch the reruns, and laugh again. I love all of the characters, but Sheldon is my favorite.....
What a charming young man! I had never seen this interview before, and I'm now glad I did. I feel I was just allowed to experience - even if briefly - the beauty of a sincere human being. Thank you Jim!
Strombo will always be my favouriter interviewer. He is genuine and keen to dig in a most Canadian way and support his guests. I've never seen a mean-spirited moment out of him ever. Love Jim Parsons too!!
Aww now I know I have to go back to the restaurant Monday, make the best dishes I can, as alway, knowing that it will never be for Jim Parsons :( He was in Toronto ! This man is amazing, very true and lovable. Cheers !
This interview is perfect. The funny parts just come naturally because of how Jim is, not because it's forced to be funny. And you can tell George respects Jim, and he also seems completely fascinated by what Jim is saying.
Excellent interview, very informative, made this little poem on the spur of the moment, but not about the interview. I heard this little ditty, one day on TV, I thought it kinda pretty, and it still has stuck with me. Hear it in my head, it's there all day long, Even when it's time for bed, I still hear that "KITTY" song. Thank you Sheldon Cooper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
George is notorious for doing his research and asking the best questions. I knew he'd be BIG 1 day when i first saw him on the Punk Show and a VJ for MuchMusic. By the way Jim Parson is so cool and down to earth, great interview. Thanks for uploading.
This is a wonderful interview with a wonderful man.I would like to relate a brief story regarding Jim to illustrate this point.I e-mailed Jim a few months ago praising him and he gave me a very kind and prompt reply. This from a person who has never meet me and possible never will. A true Southern Gentleman and also a great actor. P.S - I really think George is great too.
I love Jim Parsons, and I think that George Strombolopoulos (sp?) is a fantastic interviewer. He asks more than just your superficial, overused interview questions. This is really great.
He's a fuckin bad ass. So sincere, and wicked. You can really tell how much of himself he puts in his character. Thats why Sheldon comes off so honest, I think.
he's a sweetie. it's a good thing they cast him for the pilot. the show wouldn't be the same without him. in fact, all the actors are really good at what they do. awesome show.
The host George is very good at what he does. He's very attentive, he asks some really great unique questions and never the bland, cliche, boring questions. And because of that, guests enjoy being interviewed because they get to open up their mind and be themselves. Parsons is a cool guy. Glad he's doing well.
I think it's hilarious that OP named this "Jim Parson's interview for Canada." As if Strombo is just the one and only interviewer in Canada. Strombo: Canada's primary representative. Yeah I can get down with that.
So much so, it makes me wonder about how the whole TV business really operates. Step 1 : "Learn those lines" Step 2 "Be yourself and read those lines in front of the camera."... Anyhow, the end result is good so, no complains... just shocked!

that's how you know how good he is. He evokes passion and pride just from doing what he loves to do. he's a beast.
This was one of the greatest celebrity interviews I've ever seen. The host was trying to get us to see the core of Jim Parsons with the question about his favorite childhood memory and stuff like that. I really liked it, Jim just seems like a really sweet man and thats kinda comforting.

Love Jim Parsons!! What a talent!
Yes he can play himself lol wow what a talent
Great interview and I love "Sheldon" Jim Parsons! The interviewer was smooth and made him feel comfortable....Great job!
He seems like such a genuine likable guy. Someone you'd just like to hang around with and talk with.
What a refreshing interview! Parsons is honest, reflective, and interesting.
An Awesome Actor and person.
What a charming young man! I had never seen this interview before, and I'm now glad I did. I feel I was just allowed to experience - even if briefly - the beauty of a sincere human being. Thank you Jim!
Oh well put!
Strombo will always be my favouriter interviewer. He is genuine and keen to dig in a most Canadian way and support his guests. I've never seen a mean-spirited moment out of him ever. Love Jim Parsons too!!
he is so sweet!!!! i kinda have a little crush on him. he's the best character on the show, thats for sure!

One more reason to love Canada! Great interview, especially at the rapid fire.
What a sweet, gentle guy. He deserves his success.
I like how he's so all over the place, enthusiastic, and raw in an honest way.
loved this interview. Love Jim. Love George. George is one of the most thoughtful interviewers ever.
George is notorious for doing his research and asking the best questions. I knew he'd be BIG 1 day when i first saw him on the Punk Show and a VJ for MuchMusic. By the way Jim Parson is so cool and down to earth, great interview. Thanks for uploading.
The guy running the interview is fantastic. I've seen him once before and he stood out more than the person he was interviewing.
he is so amazing... I just wanna go up and give him a big hug!
"Interview for Canada"...
It's called The Hour. We do, in fact, have more than one TV program in Canada.
Its not "The Hour" anymore. It's now G S Tonight !
‘Merkins still think we have one area code ...
what a creative name. the Hour.
who gives two shits about canada? seriously.
holy shit, best interviewer around. George is amazing at what he does.
He is such a deep and fascinating person. Bless him
This is a wonderful interview with a wonderful man.I would like to relate a brief story regarding Jim to illustrate this point.I e-mailed Jim a few months ago praising him and he gave me a very kind and prompt reply. This from a person who has never meet me and possible never will.
A true Southern Gentleman and also a great actor.
P.S - I really think George is great too.
one of the best interviews I've seen of jim!
I LOVE JIM PARSON...GREAT ACTOR...
he seems so sympathatic. he thinks about what he says and doesnt beat around the bush all the time with nervous laughter like many actors...
he's such a brilliant man i would love to meet him someday and have a chat with him
one of the best interviews I've seen in a long time.
What a nice guy! I love him as Sheldon on Big Bang Theory, and now I like him even more after watching this interview!
Great actor, thanks for showing this interview
He seems to be a nice down to earth person. Big Bang Theory is the best.
Love watching Jim he is so so amazing and so so cute love him loads
SO humble!
I like how an interview on Strombo is also considered a person's official "interview for Canada."
its not, not in any way was that stated, offical, bitch
Calm down kiddo -- it was a joke. Note the name of the video: "Jim Parsons interview for Canada". That tickled me.
What an excellent interview.
This guy is the best interviewer alive
He's so honest! So refreshing
I absolutly Love Jim Parsons! He's a great actor and his comedic timing is spot on!

George Stroumboulopoulos has to be one of the more stimulating interviewers of our time, well in my opinion of course :)
"Oh! Oh God!" o.o
^ The face he made was adorable.
Jim is my hero he is adorable
Big Bang is still perfectly brilliant! Great writers, great actors and consistently funny!
Such a lovely interview!
I just can't imagine any other actor playing Sheldon. He owns that character. Perfect.
Oh my god I'm sooo in love with Jim!!
This has to be one of my very favorite Jim Parsons interviews. The host is very good!
I love Jim Parsons, and I think that George Strombolopoulos (sp?) is a fantastic interviewer. He asks more than just your superficial, overused interview questions. This is really great.
Jim Parsons is so adorable
i enjoyed this so much i love jim and this showed me more about me than most chat shows do :D
He's a fuckin bad ass. So sincere, and wicked. You can really tell how much of himself he puts in his character. Thats why Sheldon comes off so honest, I think.
I love him so much
Jim is SO cute! And I really like this interviewer...it feels like Jim is just talking with a buddy. It's sweet.
Another great interview , thankyou G.
He is my favorite character on the big bang theory
he's a sweetie. it's a good thing they cast him for the pilot. the show wouldn't be the same without him. in fact, all the actors are really good at what they do. awesome show.
He's the cutest person aliveee, so adorable
Is it just me, or does anyone else think he would make a GREAT Riddler in a Batman movie?
yes or some of those other characters. wasn't there a chemical guy or mr freeze yeah lol mates
Arnold schwarzenegger played Mr. Freeze..:)
Jim Parsons is awesome. He's the only reason to watch that show.
Wow, I just noticed Jim's eyes. They're beautiful!
Aww, Jim is precious :)
Jim Parsons is effing rad.
Jim was perfect for the role his voice, stature, and appearance was perfect for Sheldon!
Strombo, great interviewer. Never actually watched this before
EXCELLENT Interview.
The host George is very good at what he does. He's very attentive, he asks some really great unique questions and never the bland, cliche, boring questions. And because of that, guests enjoy being interviewed because they get to open up their mind and be themselves. Parsons is a cool guy. Glad he's doing well.
Great. Everyone need this information. Good to get it now.
Very good looking guy and talented actor!! Strombo led a very honest and interesting interview…a nice change from (most) U.S. TV appearances!
I think it's hilarious that OP named this "Jim Parson's interview for Canada." As if Strombo is just the one and only interviewer in Canada.
Strombo: Canada's primary representative. Yeah I can get down with that.
What do you mean? The only network we have is CBC, and we all live in igloos.
Jordan Ede I have no idea how I am posting this. I caught this machine while ice fishing
At least we don't talk about blowing stuff up in our national anthem
Don Cherry is our primary rep dude.
Colonel Remus Don Cherry is Canada's primary Closet Case
th ebst interview with Jim I've seen so far : )
Jian Does the best interviews, one can still be proud to be Canadian.
i love him, hes funny and stuff, and i respect him
I really like Mr Parsons and I, of course, enjoy Big Bang Theory! This is a very good interview!
I really admire him so much!
George the host, is a graduate of our national music channel and has always been an astute contemporary man, a smartie! He gives good interviews!
Thank god for George - he really 'talks' and listens to people instead of making them perform like Ellen/Jay etc
Ohmygod... The thing about his mother and the wallpaper, and the vacuum... that was beautiful. :')
Jim you are an Honorary Canadian!!! Please come here!
people it's jim and/or sheldon you have to love them both either or! it's great great great!!! Great Canadian fan! love you
Jim, you are pure win.
He is exactly like his character on the The Big Bang Theory.

So much so, it makes me wonder about how the whole TV business really operates. Step 1 : "Learn those lines" Step 2 "Be yourself and read those lines in front of the camera."... Anyhow, the end result is good so, no complains... just shocked!
