This helped me so much with fixing my intro when applying to nanny jobs. I haven't been a professional nanny before but have had over a decade of experience babysitting relatives. Now I know how to properly include that in my intro and hopefully have more families reach out! Thanks so much for these videos they are a great aid for new nannies!
Hi, thank you for helping us with your experience and professionalism, your advice were perfect to me. I’m a little worried about my English , but I listened to you, this encouraged me a lot! Thank you again ! 😀

Thank you for this! I’m looking to create value through my childcare skills to families needing them. I’ll be using some of these techniques to increase my chances. 😊
I agree, we need the examples of great applications as well. I usually don't send emails untill the agency responds to my application. I apply through a website so I send resume and a detailed cover letter. I am looking for a new position now, and I just "wanna"😂 find with a great family that pays a great rate dependable on my long term, almost two decades career nanny experience. I speak almost 4 languages, so hopefully it is not a problem, that I don't feel English 100%.
Again this is a perfect vidio that I'm looking for...I am now working as nanny/ maid in Qatar & i'm planning to apply as nanny in an English country like Canada or UK & this vidio helps me a lot! ...big thanks.
As a career nanny of 6 years in regard to tip 5 I assumed that the popular nanny agency’s would skim over your introduction message so I made the decision to just put my cv and job reference number thinking that I’m doing them a favour and would stand out because I’m getting straight to the point but turns out I’m wrong 🤦🏾♀️no wonder I didn’t hear back from them…
Live and learn. I always like to see an introduction letter. But I always give interviews to nannies who just send their resume and have great experience.
I have a bit of a different problem. I have worked as a nanny for over 10 years but only on a part time basis( working for two families at a time to make up a full- time schedule). However, I’m now looking to transition to an agency for one full-time or rotational position. I have a child development degree, masters in social work in addition to newborn care course work( not certified). I hear the HNW/ UHNW positions are more work which I’m ok with, but I’m wondering how to stand out if I don’t have the full-time or 24/7 experience just yet? Will a family think I can’t handle it or will the agency not show interest due to this?
It sounds like you have a solid foundation with your experience and education! Highlighting your unique skills and the diverse experiences you've gained from working with different families can definitely help you stand out in your applications.

Hi Michelle Kelsey, I am an experienced nanny already in Canada. Can you help finding a nanny job, preferably full-time with a nice family in Whitby, Ontario? I can send you my resume if you provide me with your email. Thanks and appreciate whatever help you can provide. Regards, Rey
I always thought Michelle was a female name until I met a couple of men with the name. Its a cultural difference. I believe France has a version of the name Michelle that is for a man.

Fantastic!
11:21 I really would have liked to see a little less obvious cases. Good, competitive applications and resumes that could be tweaked or adjusted
To you it may seem obvious but these are examples we see everyday. Good competitive applications rarely need tweaking. They are doing a great job.

Is it ok to list some of my qualifications and certifications on that introduction letter ?ex CPR, Red Cross advanced care, languages I speak and etc?
Yes, you can definitely add them there. Or you can also put them on your resume.
Hello ma'am how can I apply for nanny position from India, without experience, I am a registered nurse but for part time I want to join as nanny
Sorry we only work with nannies already in Canada.
Is experience working for Child Protective Services something that will look good on your application?
I think it is good experience. It will depend on the type of job you are applying for and the job requirements.
I love your videos and I love to be a nanny from Brazil 🇧🇷 💕
