Hail to one of the exceptional Kings in music, the great John Holt!!
Between singing solo and singing with the Paragons group, this King is loved by all who loves music, once they take the time to listen to him sing.
There should be a statue of him in the City or whatsoever area he has knowingly came from. There was a young man in Brooklyn, New York, who was a friend of Mr. Holt. He sounded very close to him singing wise, and would brag about it. He said that Mr. Holt agreed but wouldn't give him an hundred percent. I listened his singing and agreed with Mr. Holt. Certain parts he hadn't captured. Maybe because there's only one real Mister Holt. I don't remember the young man's name but I had met him in the early nineteen nineties, at a Jamaican house studio in East New York, if I am not mistaken. The engineer was a great guy. He was very professional and helpful too. I wish him all the very best, this includes his wife also, who was a very understanding woman to him and respects his friends and musical artistes etc. The recording engineer would give the last shirt off his back.

Jamaica or England should make a documentary about this important man in reggae, photos of his father and mother, interviews and videos that I have never seen, HD cinema quality for you tube, Vevo and National Geographic.
