My birthstone is Amethyst and Amethyst is one of my favorite gems. Another one of my favorites is Ruby. My grandma sent me a ruby and diamond bracelet and necklace in November of last year along with some other jewelry. The ruby is the main gem and the diamonds are just tiny accents. I love it and have only worn it once. And she sent me another bracelet with a blue jewel in it in July of last year, a big one in comparison to other jewels I've seen. This, I have worn more often. I don't know if it's opal or something else, but whatever it is, it's pretty.
I did have a ring once with a purple jewel, I don't think it was real amethyst, I think it was just plastic made to look like amethyst. I don't know what happened to it. I don't know, maybe someday I'll have jewelry with real amethyst.

The blue jewel is probably a sapphire. 👍

@@ethanholliday760 Well the thing is, it's not just blue, that's just the primary color of the jewel. It's got some green and even little bits of pink. And it seems to change color with the amount of light and the angle of the light. At a 90 degree angle from the light and especially under low light, pretty much all I see is a dark blue. At the same angle as the light, I see all the colors in it. That's making me think it's opal if it even is a gemstone and not one of those plastic jewels made to look like a gemstone.

I can't wait for more videos focusing on Quartz with different inclusions. Check out Natalie's previous video and she at one point wants suggestions from commenters what kind of inclusions in Quartz they want to see in future videos.
