i spend 2 hours try to install a network interface in my windows os , mouse responses are really bad . so i shift in 6.0 i think in feature they will solve this problem
I'm using VMWARE 6.5 U1 and I can't find this client. I think the client was deprecated. what is this program called, what do I search for on VMWare's site to download this?
Same here I was wondering the same thing. Here is what I figured out.. The old C# client was called vsphere client. The flash/flex client was called vsphere web client. They discontinued the C# vsphere client, and made a new (web) client using HTML5 instead and gave it the same vsphere client name making things confusing. So "vsphere client" means 2 things.. the old discontinued C# client and a new HTML5 web client. Apparently if the address shows IP/UI that is the HTML5 client. Mine looks nothing like the video, but I think thats because we are logged into the Host directly (free license) vs. logging into vsphere center like they are doing in this video. I am guessing this because you can see multiple hosts in the video (vsphere center). So I think thats why it looks different for us. The host client we are using is also HTML5 client. Confusing.. Old "vsphere client" -> C# Program old "vsphere web client" -> Adobe flash/flex new "vsphere client" -> a new web client but they took web out of the name and used the name of the old C# program... kb.vmware.com/s/article/2147929
You see complaints from a year ago on the web client. Just incase anyone is curious, nothing has changed or improved stability/performance-wise. Their web clients are horrible.
This and the Vsphere web client are rubbish and slow. I wish they would bring back the old client for us Windows people and not this rubbish web based client. And there is not performance and stability as they suggest. Utter propoganda.
It's downloaded from the online hypervisor host, being just a web page- based controller interface...
Is it included with Free version or Essential Kit?
