Those same three clear totes of vintage cards came from the Sacramento sports cards shows I'd have to resort the cards to build a high-rise buildings, lol. That one nice lady was so happy to be on camera :) You picked up some great bundled deals that day Mikey!

thanks jason, this is all new here in los angeles, we did not have card shows a few years ago. im just glad we finally have something going on in the west coast.
Dang you always killing it. Those West Coast shows are amazing. I need a vacation. Honestly South Florida card shows suck and forget about a LCS. Mostly old junk wax. Don't get me wrong I still have love for those cards but these are sun faded sitting in store fronts windows over a decades. It's pretty sad considering the population numbers and big money. We have about 10 shops in 3 counties. 90% of our LCS look the same as two decades ago. We finally got a new shop with two different locations but everything is graded and top shelf with q codes to pay. Real fancy place but I wear Flip Flops, cheap Puma sneakers and T-shirts. I was definitely out of place. 😂 As always it's fun to watch your videos. Take care.
i wonder if that new shop youre talking about is the same one orlando has been filming out in florida?? you know man, sometimes you just have to travel out of the county and perhaps state, i dont do many card shops in los angeles either, all the ones ive been too are all over priced, except maybe burbank but even those guys can be quite pricey. i still feel ebay is the greatest source for cards, however i def recommend doing atleast 1 big card show/year. you can find some awesome stuff on the cheap!
@@geezmikeyYes, @acollectorsdream is from my area or he was. I think he has seen all these shops and probably feels the same way. I can't say. I think he is on the West Coast now. He may know the frustration. One day I hope to meet up with him. So the new, two location shops are called Mint. I wish them the best but....That's a story for another day. 😵💫 No doubt I plan doing a big trip but eBay is easy for me this year.
I don't mind spending $10.00 or less all in. Raw with eye appeal. Less than $10, is more cards for me that I missed not collecting for too many decades but some cards have nostalgia, history or a story that I dig. I haven't been burnt yet and have been happy with all my purchases. If they are crap then they go to the arts and crafts pile. Luckly zero so far. Magnifying is my friend. That's me though and it makes me happy. I spent my money on worst things 😁 Take care my dude as always I enjoy your videos.

hahaa one thing i learned from these card shows is to budget yourself man! dont go spending all your money on one shot! walk into that joint being spontaneous and youll find some bangers one card table at a time!

maz, i was literally looking for a yankees team card for you. i did not see ANY! and i say that because i know the yankees team card isnt a cheap card, but the 2 that i have, i found them at a really good price. ill keep an eye out for you bud.
The Team cards are so brutal in price. The NY Yanks and Brooklyn Dodgers team cards are expensive. Thanks my friend

I'm dying inside. It was like this when I was a kid and since 2000 I been shut out.
lol when you go to shows looking for certain items, you will not find them at deals, you need to be random and what ever happends! i dont go to shows looking for anything in paticular i just make sure i see every vendor and what they offer.

hahaa thats awesome man, you will not regret building the 56 topps set! for the el benchos/commons finding anything for a buck is a steal, but i try to be in the $1-$3 range, $4 or 5 is pushing it.. lol yeah ricks a funny dude.

I have always wanted to make it to that show. With those prices I might have to pass on that. What do you carry to the shows? I use a paper list of all my sets. I still need the Maris. NICE!
i just use my phone, i literally just took photos of my 52 and 56 topps numbers, every thing else is on the fly with no epectations. example the 57s and 54s i picked up, some were doubles, but they went into my team binders so i put them in to good use.
@@geezmikey I know I did not see a binder or notebook or backpack in the video so I figured I should ask. I have all my sets wrote down in a little folder and as long as I can keep it up to date, that is what I use.
