    ___________________________________________
The true story of a family of charismatic quolls living on an abandoned farm in Tasmania and one man's extraordinary devotion to save them.
Available to stream 7.40pm Sunday 14 February on ABC iview:iview.abc.net....
    ___________________________________________
Quoll Farm provides a haven for many species, including a young Tasmanian devil that emerges each evening from under the house. They're the largest of all marsupial carnivores, though this one hasn't yet learned just how scary he is to all the other animals.
One night, I follow Sasha on a hunting trip to the old hay shed. Quolls are expert rodent hunters. There's no need to lay dangerous rat poison when you have quolls around.
A little devil follows Sasha, which disrupts her hunting. Even the much larger possum seems nervous. Soon, another devil turns up. While the devils are distracted with each other, Sasha works fast to find a meal for her youngsters. Success. Some much-needed food for her hungry family. The young quolls excitedly tuck into Sasha's delivery. But one rat six ways doesn't add up to much. A delicious meal is always followed by a snooze.

This looks amazing. Quolls are one of Australia's less known and rarely seen marsupials.

Loved the show but was devastated by the rotten humans that destroyed Clover and her babies home.. Ironically, such a successful colony lived with that cat, no doubt the drop in Devil numbers mean less predators for the Quolls...so I see the wild cat population as balancing the slack... Also the man made extinction of the Tasmanian Tiger- as the largest carnivore in Tasmania, will have caused an ecological imbalance. Man is the greatest threat to our native animals, our land clearing is catastrophic...

This is like the beginning of a joke. A quoll, a Tasmanian devil and an opposum walk into a barn...

If Only i own an island i would make it a safe haven for quolls and other endangered animals and it would be off limits to cats and other pests and the worst pest of all called Humans
