I'm looking to buy these so I listened to some music on a pair, but I found the highs really screechy. Is this your experience as well or is it just me??
Yes I felt the same way, but I just adjusted the highs with the equaliser of the vlc player and that worked for me, the highs are now mor ballanced like I prefer, and there are many ways to equalise this headphone, so just experiment on it, & and this is indeed a great headphone but you need some adjustment to do to make it sound as you prefer.

Not really. I love my rode nt1. I also have a rode nt1000. I love that microphone as well. I would recommend them to anyone.
