I didn't shoot any of this footage because I was born that year, 1975. But, 'thank you' Detroit Historical Society, ABC News, 60 Minutes, and the Detroit Visitors Bureau.

great video man. was in high school in '75. remember rollin' around the city getting high listening to the radio with friends, hangin' on Woodward, frisbee in the parking lots. Tiger Stadium. I was born in a hospital on 9 Mile Road.

Funny thing is... alot of this footage looks like the 1980s-90s as well.

That was Providence Hospital ...Still on 9 Mile Detroit stopped at 8 Mile... that was and still is the suburb Southfield Michigan

Born and raised in Detroit. This is unfair to show the bad sides of the city.... Show Eastland Mall, Northland Mall, Downtown Shopping Center. Show the nicer neighborhoods like the one I lived in with working class people. Show the big, beautiful mansion in Indian Village.
