    Excellent! And thank you so much for understanding that there is no simple fix for this. I've seen too many videos and read too many articles that say something like, "You just need to walk with your pelvis in a more neutral position." Much easier said than done!

    Thank you for making this information available. I've been a runner since high school and ran up until recently. I know I don't have the best posture but I also never had any real back pain until about six months ago with a lifting twisting injury. I went to the doctor and got x-rays which didn't indicate any problems. The pain persisted and I took it easy hoping it would heal and it slowly diminished but never went away so I got an MRI and I was diagnosed with facet syndrome in my lumbar. They thought I had a disc problem but according to the MRI my discs are fine. I'm a little stressed with this diagnoses since I'm only 35 and would really like to stay off meds and remain active. Would this be a good set of stretches for helping to rehab this problem? Thank You!

      Jon Bates yes start off with these and then progress you core strength. I have a good program for that check it out here: www.physiorehab.com/rehab-programs-lower-back-core-rehab

    Hi, i've been trying to do the lunging hip-flexor stretch but i can't do it without pain at my knee. it feels like the tendons and muscles around my knee are so tight that no matter how far into the stretch i am, if i activate my glutes, my knee feels a stretching pain. also, it feels uncomfortable/almost painful with the pressure of my weight on me (weird, i know). i'm 20 so there's no way that this is from age:S any ideas?

    • @physiorehab
      @physiorehab  4 года назад

      Perhaps back off the stretch positron so you are only just feeling it. Work on it these things take time

    For plank, are you just creating some tension in glutes, not going into hip extension like full squeeze?

  • @aalekhrasal4246
    @aalekhrasal4246 4 года назад

    What about the glutes that get inhibited due to this issue ? Do they need to be strengthened or is it core first
