Thanks so much!

Last movement really sings and dances with the registrations used....Bach's genius is SO evident here in his writing of this marvelous music....Ulf you understand the spirit of Bach's sublime music...

Bach organ at its best. Lighter than his Toccata and Fugue, but equally or more uplifting! Thank you, Anders, for posting.

I'm usually not a fan of compositions in Major scale, but Bach always turns them into powerful pieces with Minor sections

As an enormous fan of secular Bach, but no fan of Organ music usually at all, this is a thing of great beauty that has lifted a veil.

Ulf your Bach is alive; it originates from within your very being; some peoples' Bach is almost DEAD...

Trop vite. Prendre le temps de faire respirer les notes, c'est essentiel!

The first Allegro is quite rushed and the musical rhetoric goes missing. Largo, lovely, relaxing and balanced. However, sometimes the Absprache is rather abrupt in these long cantabile phrases. Some "soggier" chromatism quasi glissando would have been lovely as a contrast. Might be the recording but the final Allegro lacks of balance between the two upper voices. The top voice is drowning the second but, again, it might be the position of the microphone(s). Far too much staccato for this choice of registers. It sounds as if the player was burning himself on the keys. To quote the old master Pier Paolo Tosi "Il soverchio stucca." (the eccess cloys)
