Not a fan of this game. Rust is funny and social. Tarkov is just... tedious.
By being an incredible story teller. His opening passages are always perfectly worded and inflected, and throughout the video he keeps it interesting and funny while explaining everything in a way that keeps you invested.
I've never played Tarkov and never plan to, but I love his Tarkov videos even more than his Rust content.

Welyn has gotten me into so many games; Rust, Ark, Tarkov. Yes, they can suck quite a bit, but sometimes it feels so good to play. Even when I lose, like in Tarkov, for example. I still have fun, which means more than winning to me. Video games are my escape from reality, so I'm always trying to do the most wild things. Thanks for the content Welyn!

That 25 second intro resonates with me to a massive degree today.
I was playing Tarkov a few hours ago, and finally decided to take on Bunker Part 1. I've always avoided Bunker Part 1, and all other Reserve tasks.
Reserve is the map where I cannot catch a break. Every single wipe since I've started playing, Reserve has been the map that causes me to hit rock bottom every single time. Every time I've attempted Bunker Part 1, I've been killed over, and over, and over again. Every single time, I've been reduced to absolute scraps in my inventory. It had gotten to the point where even considering to play Reserve made a anxious as fuck.
And so, I grabbed up the best gear I could find, an RBAV with full LVL5 plates, Ulatch and an RD-704, preparing to lose all my shit again. I genuinely spent a good 5 minutes staring at the "Deploy" button, just preparing for the inevitable.
And long story short - something unexpected happened. I managed to kill 2 raiders, 3 PMCs and get the task done, while netting a solid 200+K in profits. It felt so amazing, knowing that I had pulled through on my very first raid on Reserve of this wipe.
