I know everyone keeps saying it's gonna be a sweep. I'm not so sure. I certainly hope so as a Panthers fan. I've been waiting 30 years to hoist a Cup, but the Oilers might be on tonight. Florida is looking great and they seem to be far more poised than Edmonton. So I am really hoping for the win tonight to close this thing out. Game 3 was really fun to watch. Bobrovsky missed a couple tips, but I don't blame him, he was sensational again. I hope he has a less busy night tonight. Go Panthers!!!

He's not just a puck stopper. So, it comes down to 2 things, selling the game in America. Or mcnuttsac, cementing himself as a liget star. As for skinner, out of 10 shots Bobby would stop 9 skinner would stop 6 or 7. Atm Edmonton is playing better in front of him. So that's less shot in net. Which means skinner sucks. Pound for pound.

By whom? Anybody that watched both teams knew the Cats are the better team, built for the playoffs & have a chip on their shoulders & the way better goaltender. The Oilers have a historic power play, but struggled to score 5 on 5 in the last series, & they got an incredible amount of hype. Not a fan of either team, but I knew Florida would win, but had no idea they'd go up 3-0, I thought it would go 6-7 games.

The majority of Pavel Bure’s career was being completely out of the playoffs, swept, or a first round exit.
Building a team around this archetype of a player is a losing formula. Players like Barkov, Thackuk, Kopitar, Backes, Datsyuk, Jagr provide the backbone necessary to convert defense into offense. Connor Mcdavid is a defensive liability and not anything close to a leader of athletes.

I don't agree that Draisaitl is one of the two best players in the world... He is an powerplay specialist, but resembles a stationary medieval trebuchet. He constantly resorts to the same tactics, like well-aimed centering passes and shot attempts from the goalline. As amazing and effective as these plays can be, they are easy to read and can easily be interrupted by cup contending teams like the Panthers... The strong forechecking and defensive stability of Florida made Draisaitl look lost: He is neither a particularly good skater, nor exceptionslly technically skilled: If he's got no room to handle the puck, he is useless. He is strategically minded, I'll have to give him that, but certainly not beyond the skills of Barkov e.g.

Oilers have nothing to lose. So they can play lose and free. They are much faster than the Panthers and I think have more skilled players. They proved it Saturday. Another good game like that and this series could go 7. #LFGO

Not getting painful lol. He's just making more and more sense and it's translating well on the ice now. His even-keeled temperament and maturity exemplify the difference between the Oilers and the contentious cats, who just got neutered!
The Oilers largely dominated the Panthers in games 1&3, and in one swoop they matched the total goals of the Panthers and stood their goalie on his head.
The only thing painful is how hyperbolic fans like yourself, who don't really understand hockey, are so eager to dismiss the Oilers. But not painful; just laughable.
