Could someone please answer my question why God allowed men to have more than one wife.and God called them blessed? My husband and I divorced because he had a mistress..Maybe my thinking was wrong and I should have allowed more than one woman in my marriage. I'm just confused. Thank you for helping answer this question.
In the OT, it was considered custom. In the NT there became guidelines for men who served in the church to have one wife. Now, that does not in ANY way excuse adultery. He was wrong. God hates divorce, but not the people who go through it. There are situations when the cheating spouse is repentant and both sides give God their wounds and the marriage is healed (with lots of work and counseling included). YOU were the woman he was married to, not the mistress. Don't allow the enemy to cloud your thinking. 💕 I heard Pastor Robert Morris give a great explanation of marriage yesterday and how God sees it. I hope it helps give you peace ruclips.net/video/pslwynM89A4/видео.html
Thank you I'm still confused because Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8 tells us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever and never changes. Thank you
