Since I started running ultras and trails, I stopped listening to music. This way I get to enjoy my runs more, listen to my breathing, hear the nature and I am loving it
Totally do the cinema pass thing. I did and have really enjoyed it because of what you said- I put my phone away and fully engage in the movie when I’m there. Plus I’ve just gone to a lot more movies now and it’s great! Highly recommend. Also thanks for opening up about anxiety and therapy and stuff. Nice to see and it’s important!

im running the half marathon on sun - is anyone else? its my first ever just wanted to challenge myself and now ive fallen in love with running (always been a weight girly) so glad I've found Lucy's channel who trains both ways as I definitley want to keep both style of trainings in my life
So crazy I just decided to go for a 5k to chase the sun as sunset approached and I forgot to bring anything. It was lovely. Then I sat down to eat with Lucy and she says go for a silent run! You are correct. So much fun.
9:48 : For those of you who like granola type meals, give this concoction I made a whirl and thank me later: 😊(All available in Aldi). - High protein honey seed granola:40g. - Raisin and almond granola: 40g - Raisins: 30g. - Cinnamon: Teaspoon. - Salted Peanuts: 30g - (Optional) Flapjack 15g (you will need to smash this up). - Milk:100ml. Marcos: 25g of Protein/ Approx 600 calories. An amazing snack treat, good if you have some calories to try fill at the end of the day 😊😊
Since you mentioned about running without headphones I've tried it and the difference the runs go so quickly and its nice to take in where you are and do some thinking

I have never used headphones on a run, it dictates my pace and stops me tuning in with my thoughts which is the reason I started running -- it was cheaper than therapy!
Does the whoop tell you your running distance if you take your phone and can as the app? I want to get it to replace my Fitbit. I am not serious enough about running to get both a whoop and a Garmin.
How do you know when to take a rest day ? I struggle with this and I would also run or train if I feel tired and push through . PS I run with music to get away from my own thoughts 😂.
I think your content is great, and I think your a true inspiration to many people, including myself. 💪 I just don't understand why you choose to share your HR and all other health metrics but not your calorie consumption. In one video you say, 'don't compare yourself to me, I share my stats but that doesn't mean you have to get the same result as me'. But then you say your 'calorie consumption is personal and you don't want others to compare themselves to you'. I don't want to sound rude, i just found it a little bit condratictive and/or misleading. But perhaps I am mistaken. 🤷🏻♀️

Let me explain, my HR and other metrics can’t be copied as that’s me as a human, my own health 😄 for calories, people will copy my exact calories and macros thinking it’ll help achieve their goals, when it won’t. Because your calorie consumption is individual and has a direct impact on how you perform, look & feel. Me sharing my health stats is an indication of my own health, that can’t be copied 😄
It's a buzzword they take to their full advantage for the algorithm. For me it is becoming annoying, but I dont know if that was the sentiment behind your comment.
Yeah they are indeed and what a healthy and good place to be. I get some people are calling themselves it when they’re not as it’s strength and endurance not just running and lifting, but maybe don’t let it annoy your life so much when it doesn’t affect it in anyway 🙂
