It was narrated from Abu Saeed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallaAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
You will certainly follow the ways of those who came before you hand span by hand span, cubit by cubit, to the extent that if they entered the hole of a lizard, you will enter it too.
We said: O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?
He said: Who else?

Regarding joking about the Deen. The most apparent example nowadays are the "islamic meme pages"! By Allaah, majority of them belittles and mocks Allaah and His religion in abhorrent ways. And when i advice them, i get called out, mocked, insulted etc.,. Allaah is sufficient for me as a witness. All of them will definitely pay for it on yaum al qiyamah if they don't return. May Allaah forgive us

Asalamualaikum brother, I advise you to concentrate on very simple foundational issues of creed or "aqeedah" (at which time you leave off any type of issues which may cause confusion or "fitna" between the people (due to their lack of islamic knowledge). This topic is one of those topics which may cause confusion (and fitna) if not properly understood. Why not leave this one for the scholars bro?
Please make note that I understand that this video is 11 years old, however, it is still up!

Perhaps you are running people away from the call to Allah (in the manner that I see you attack this subject). Is this the way of the Messenger of Allah (Salah Allahu allayhee wa salam) ya akhi? Are these the manners that you have learned by watching and sitting with the scholars (of course not)? Why do you choose to deal with topics that cause enmity and division (rather than love, unity, and mercy) my brother? I know that you intend good, however, I believe that you are not achieving your goal (i.e to guide the people to Islamic Monotheism). May Allah grant us all success. Allahumma ameen!
I shave because my beard is untameable! I tried keeping it for 3 years and it was so much stress! It took over my life. Thats not what a beard is for. So i had to tame it- shave it.
@UCtsFhZwNo-SJwSDq4nj12nQ after my experience i will never keep a beard again. Some peoples beards are easily tamed, some are not. Islam is not about hard ship or spending hours a day looking after beard, life is not all about a beard. Those that keep it are not any different than those that do not! Its just hair- dead protein.

@@kawembayakobo3429 comes back but really the beard was too much to keep. Mine was very thick, couldnt tame it. I had to use haor straightener beard oils, the lot. I grew it very long to try tame it. I did my best. Kept it for 3 years. Least i tried brother!
