Kate Jackson so sweet and humble!
Just beautiful! All the fabrics were so very light and airy, providing a lot of movement. All the models wore them so well. Very glamorous and sexy without being revealing. What a time! I miss those days. Cher's wedding gown was fabulous!

Like a dead fish.
Kate Jackson always sweet, gorgeous and humble🤩😘😘Always loved her warmth 🤩
I am
Here because of a trimmed down version in tik tok and had no idea thsi existed, wow! Love it!
Talk about natural classic beautiful ladies.
My Mom and I watched this every night after dinner for something like 3 months straight. The clothes and the stars - - classic. So well done and, of course, the denouement... Cher!
Every night?!?! For 3 months straight?!? I'm sure you probably missed a night.
Great fun, incredible voltage. From Ann Miller to Cher, incredible, unforgettable stars. And Gina Lollobrigida, still gorgeous at 55. How exciting!
I still own my original VHS recording of 1982's Night of 100 Stars. When Boadcast TV was truly entertaining. We had Great Primetime series and stars, TV Specials, TV Movies,
A time before the plethora of nauseating reality shows that air now...
Cher is always the icing on the cake
True glamour, all of which is lacking today.
ladyvee7110 ---Amen!
I love that Judith Jamison came out at 5:10 dancing and the sublime glamour of both Anna Moffo (6:10) and Gina Lollobrigida, drawing the loudest applause at 6:18.
Judith Jamison in true Ailey style. She WORKED her Volbracht!
OMG! Judith Jamison (one of my favorite Ailey Instructors) Nell Carter and Cicely Tyson. Fabulous
LyMartin Chattman----Nell was struttin' her stuff! & Cicely Tyson was so elegant, as always. She could make a paper bag look presentable. Judith Jameson was doin' the damned thing too!
MORE JUDITH JAMISON!!!!
I loved Cher in the Bob Mackie wedding dress! Perfect! And the tremendous dancing of Judith Jamison, as we would expect, and the timeless elegance of Dina Merrill, Eva Gabor, and Gina Lollabrigda! But those ghastly frumpy Perry Ellis outfits! And what was that Fabrice monstrosity?!
I agree.
And I am SO glad that some styles for full figured women has gotten better because I hated what they put Nell Carter in. Today, a stylist would have had her in a chic gown that showed off her curves rather than covered her in material.
The beginning with different era's of fashion where reminiscent of costumes CHER has worn of the "Sonny & Cher show" during her solo singing numbers. She always wore elaborate Bob Mackie designs. The ending with CHER in the wedding dress was NOT showcased long enough. Another stand out fir me was Ann Jillian and Linda Gray bit they were all great!
Linda Evans rocked it
LINDA EVANS PUT EVERYBODY TO SHAME. NO SURPRISE!
Shoulders for days!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Brooke Shieds and Susan Anton in Calvin Klein are fabulous. So were Kate Jackson , Melissa Gilbert and Cher .
06:44--I loved Tony and Emmy Award winning Nell Carter, she was big, sassy and beautiful!
This oozes so much cheese, but its awesome!
I loved Cher at the end in a wedding dress!
Valerie Harper, she made the world a better place with her beauty inside and out.
You folks these days don't realize that Anne Kline was big big time back in the day.
So many Fabulous ladies!
Thanks for posting this marvelous time of machine of "WHO????"
Cher in a wedding dress. Classic!!
Cringe!
6:17, the dearly departed Gina Lollobrigida, you came along at the right moment on this night in 1982. May you always wow them above as you did fabulously in your long life with us.
Eva Gabor was so pretty...dahling!
with cher all was like a shoot!!! excellent!!!!! the best video and all fashion!
WOW !
Kate Jackson at 5:45 pre-SMK
Fun video:)
I would expect Brooke Shields to wear nothing but Calvin and Cher to wear nothing but Bob Mackie.
Linda Evans come thru...followed by Loni and Joyce!
I love this! I enjoyed guessing who was who before their name came up.
I LOVE YOU JUDITH JAMISON!!!!!
I remember this. They showed CHER last and not long enough if you ask me. She was the best! I liked Nell Carter also. So said she is dead.
Yeah, I am not sure why her entry was so "anti-climatic"...they barely gave her two seconds and the deluge of models/performers flooded the stage.
" in a word , WOW ! "
I miss the good old days
I was preparing myself to be underwhelmed however it was a good mix of people with some really huge stars peppered in like Anne Miller .Gina Lolabridgida, Arlene Dahl and Eva Gabor
Where was Linda Carter
Cher siempre Cher 👏😍 Iconica
great !!
Nell Carter!
Yes!
Go Nell...Struttin' her stuff! : )
Amen. Never let her size fool you. In those days she was doing shows where she would kick her leg over her head.
03:15 Melissa Gilbert does her little kick ... when the light's off her. Oh well.
That's your problem.
@@templedrake6890 Go corn cob yourself, Temple.
@@nursegrace7492 You made me laugh!
Ann Jillian looks like Ginger Rogers.
She does resemble Ginger doesn't she?
God bless Judith Jamison!
John Hintergardt Her elegant and graceful dance just was phenomenal!
Can you even imagine, actresses today in 2019, coming together to do a show like this???? Although I think it would be highly successful, I don't think actresses both from tv and the big screen could come together
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I always loved PLS Stand By's designs. One of the greatest designers of the 20th century. What an idiot local TD.
GARRY HIXON...w danielle brisebois red on skates
Victoria Principal was So Beautiful
Judith Jamison!!!! I swear she is made out of rubber!
This such camp, Nell Carter stole the show
What On Earth Was That???????????????????????????
That was the 80s, babe.
OMG the 1980s gag me!
Ha with a spoon no doubt!
barbies
I 'm not sure but I don't think homo sapiens were even existing in 500,000 BC I didn't watch TV in college (when this was on.) I think I would have liked some of the old stars (I was a theatre boy) but OMG--I'm not sure what to think. Everything looks so artificial--the hair often looks like it came from a . . . chemical factory or something. I do like some of the clothes. Sadly I voted for Reagan my first two elections (I can't believe it--I just did what everybody else did). Now I know the Repubs ruin the environment and are mean to the less fortunate.
