Went on so many topics to learn how to create packages that were unclear or led to issues when trying to install the newly created packages... Fortunately I stumbled across your video that helped me solved the issue in a blink. Really great job! I was so stocked that I threw in a postinstall script afterwards, hahaha Thank you!
Scoured the internet for hours looking for simple instructions like you presented. Great job, thank you for the content. I am a new Jamf admin and have been tasked to build out our QA environment to mirror production. I was so lost until now. Would love to see more on how to deploy these packages using Configuration Policies and Smart User Groups in Jamf Pro.
Hey thanks for the comment! Feel free to ask any questions if you have any, I'd be glad to help. If you need some more Jamf tips, I've got some nifty stuff over on my blog: joelsenders.wordpress.com

do you have a video on how to actually deploy the package? also can you make a video on how to deploy printers with the right drivers instead of the Generic driver please?
Thank you for this. I have been custom scripting installs for my MDM and this will help me fairly easily. Though would you be able to do an indepth on how to use the scripts? Just found your channel and looking forward to more content.
I still keep coming back to this video to this day because it's so rare I have to do an in-house package that I forget. Many thanks!
i've come to this video multiple times, just want to say thanks! this is great.

Very good tutorial. Thank you
Right to the point, thank you.
Thank you so much! 🙏 I've been looking all over for a simple guide to this. Do you have a guide for pushing packages to other devices in Jamf Pro?
Hi there! I don't have anything specific yet... Are you just looking for a step by step guide in creating policies (which deploy packages)?
@@MacintoshTraining Yeah, that's what I've been trying to figure out
Excellent! Thank you!

Thanks for the comment and the sub, Harley! Would you mind if I made a video on basic script ideas and highlighted your comment?
@@MacintoshTraining Definitely! Please do.
You want the app to be owned by root?
Great video! One tip to offer turn down your background music please, it’s nice just a little loud.
does anyone know if jamf composer can be used on a microsoft device?
No, this is a tool for Macs only.
Thanks! I needed a refresh and jamf docs are not great. LIke they are written for a robot
I can't believe how garbage this software is. I shouldnt need a carbon copy of the user environment to make packages.
