When he mentioned building something new for "someone" (Powder) she looked at his machine and saw that it had little machine monkeys in it built by her. But she never built them. So I think she has an idea, and that's what finally stopped her from pulling the pin

@@reubenhugo6450 theyre probs talkin bout his ingame ult where he doesnt recover all his health when using it, so it only heals "abit" as opppse to a full health recovery.
The fact that Jinx thought Ekko was an illusion breaks my heart cuz she literally thought he died on the bridge. And the moment she realised he wasn't she jump so that he wouldn't die😭😭😭😭😭
@@blixter9431 I think it's because she says "It's too late, Ekko". Basically the same line she says to her previous Silco's illusion. And when she sees he is real and she is hurting him, she decides to not use the bomb (but jump) 🥺
So if she thinks he's an illusion, the question is: Why would she think her mind conjured Ekko as its last attempt to save itself? Does Ekko represent "What could've been" as much for her as she does for him? Has part of her held out hope that he'd try again? Or does she see him as judgment and thinks she's conjuring him to take account for her sins?
The same exact peace on her face when she jumps at the final episode. But this time she found a new way to break the cycle that didn't necessarily involve death
that is just cringe, what made u think that she realizes that. ekko turning back the time before the bombing, jinx wouldn't know that they already exloded or before she even pull the pin, ekko just going back in time trying to talk to her different ways to not kill herself but convince her to stay.
If you look closely, you can see that everytime jinx pulls the pin and ekko uses the z drive, some of the paint on his face melted from the heat of the explosion.
it's a reference to his ultimate in-game. when he goes back in time his body doesn't "rewind" all the way to its previous state, so he still takes some residual damage with each rewind.
Not quite. Him calling her Powder reminds her once again that she changed into Jinx, while everyone still only misses Powder, basically letting her know that she'll never be good enough. That's why she blew it up without hesitation.
According to Ekko's abilities, he can only rewind time by 4 seconds. You'll notice that each time he rewinds, his available time decreases. He was able to stop Jinx on the fourth attempt. Therefore, the image of the hourglass on his face, which starts to fade, represents the time he has spent. It shows how much he's dedicated to stopping Jinx, as he could die at any moment in this scene.
As someone who likes animation the detail the put in every single scene really hits hard every time bc when she pulls the pin the way the animators made the light start white become purple and the way it bends around her and the things in the background man purely perfect show Also the impact frames are sick seriously I can’t get over this show and this scene in particular
Or... and stay with me here. He had a slip of the tongue because he just got back from spending who knows how long everyday with an alternate version of herself as powder. Dude's trying to avoid anything that might trigger her, which potentially includes her old name.
honestly even though the show puts so much emphasis on her choosing to be jinx, and everyone saying “powder” is dead, i truly believe powder is always within jinx. they are both intertwined forever, and there will always be parts of her that are there because of who she was as a child. especially in this scene, because alternate reality powder helped ekko see exactly what kind of person jinx couldve been, and helped him understand that deep down she’s still in there. shes just too hurt, confused, lost and traumatized to sort through it all
I took it more in the way that he actually accepted that powder/jinx is one and only person. Like he aknowledged who Jinx is, and he realized he doesn't want to give up on her like he did in the past.
The bad an annoying drawback of Ekkos time travel is that it only works externally. That was the one thing that was kept from the game and the short released years ago for his debut in LoL.
