Every morning when my Aussie Piper wakes up I crouch down and she puts both paws around my neck like she’s hugging me. I love it. 🥰
That's what I call maximizing your time. Kinda looks like my life also except I only have one dog to tend to.

My aussie is the alarm clock- we have potty bells at my bedroom door and the back door and this girl will ring them over and over at 5 am and stare into my soul
I have a Mini American Shepherd and his name is Kovu (from the lion king)! He’s my first puppy, now 7 months, and my whole world! He’s energetic, silly, and slowly but surely he’s becoming more cuddly. Although he’s a mini he was the chunkiest boy of his litter so while his litter mates range from 17-22 lbs he’s at a hefty 35 pounds. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. 🥰

we have two as well! I also used to freak out about the hair at first... then the other day as I'm about to drink my coffee there it was... her hair...and it only made me miss her 🥲

ANGELICA HAD A BABY!?! i hope thats not a joke 😂 congratz to you guys! I am investigating getting a second dog (i now have an standard aussie) and am looking in to a mini. Did you know, they changed name on it? They now call the mini australian shepherd the american shepherd instead

Iv had Aussie girls since 1985 . Love them! But if you have an Aussie you are going to have hair even in your tooth brush!!!!! LOL

Why the differences in food?
Prob just what one will eat or needs (for whatever reason) vs the other. It’s common TBH.
I have one Aussie
I’m torn on that or a border collie when I buy my home. My only problem I work a lot 8-12 hours a day, normally 8. My girlfriend works at a vet clinic so she could always bring him/her there if separation anxiety was ever an issue. Then the energy/mind of this breed is insane but I’m willing to train, play and invest time into being a great owner because I know the amount of energy and mental stimulation they potentially need to just be satisfied.
@@SmokeyBear0999 don't get either. 8-12 house a day plus during the night in a crate is a no, these are high drive working dogs. IF anything get a dud of a liter, low energy low drive, like indy. Got my working Australian Shepard 2 years ago, all we do is work. Pure drive is all he is. He wants to GO GO GO. at the end of the day you need to get a dog that fits YOU.
