I followed your instructions and the wifi is connected but I'm having a problem with using all the apps
It says read all the terms and then agree but the (agree) button is kept shaded and I can't press it .. where the (later) button is showing red and i can press it all the time
I can't use any app even LG content
What should i do to solve this?
How do I connect using Wi-Fi direct? I keep trying but it will not let me as its asking me to turn off my screen share app but I can't seem to find anywhere to do this!?

the wireless on these lg tvs isn't very good
@@DanielJohnHowTo it really isn't is it. Even when it says it's connected it suddenly drops out for no apparent reason. And it's actually gotten worse. Also I get this strange message on the screen about a usb device not working even though none is plugged in
@@Pili81rdz I was considering getting a splitter for my smart tv so I could split the Ethernet going to the Sky box but judging by what you said that wouldn't help either
@@katakisLives try changing the wifi channel, see if that helps

The wireless network will require a password, you can type it in on screen or use the LG tv remote app (I have done a video about this), equally if you are trying to sign into an app e.g. Netflix then there the previous applies. channels for live tv then yes, or use apps on now tv for streaming the channels it's up to you really

My LG TV was connected to the Internet wirelessly and I put in a ethernet cable. That worked fine. As soon as I took the ethernet cable out to connect back to wifi it will not connect to WiFi and won't find any WiFi codes?

restarting my router.... unplugged from socket and plugged it again

hi Daniel, thanks for the video, the problem I have with my LG smart TV is that it keeps losing the wifi setting and I have to reconnect it, whereas a few weeks ago it connected automatically, any suggestions, the only new thing I have done is connect a wifi printer
Are the settings being cleared each time? If not try switching your wireless acess point or rouer if it has a built in wireless to auto or another channel as it may just be congested. Apart from that the tv wifi card might be faulty or you could try a cable?
I have LG and when I try to get to network, any thing i put has RED X in it. i can't even use Comcast, in which i have, to connect it. I would like to know what could be stopping it? $ have 4 computers that run just find. I unplugged the tv and router. I don't know what to do next.

Wifi is turn off. Turn it to see the list of available networks that you can connect to and additional related menu items.

if it has a network/ethernet port on the back it's likely a smart tv, might just not have wireless - plugging into the sky box with a cable should work for you

Try a factory reset on your TV, then reconnect and power off/on the tv and see if the same happens. It might just be a software bug, the other thing you can try is updating your tvs software, you need it connected though for that so but you could use a cable instead. Apart from that the wifi card may be faulty.

You connect normally, the hotspot name should appear in the wifi networks list but if it doesn't then enter it manually.

you could try changing your wifi channel that might help.
So my mom bought a lg 65" and it mark update on every app and the tv itself and when i click on update the screen become blank and i would wait and wait and it ain go come on until i power off then on like tf when we had our samsung 55" ain no problem we had with it
