Ok, lost for words. I was in my bed melancholichaly listening to old tunes in the dark with my earphones, "808 State - Flow Coma (AFX Remix)" was the last track and I was about to go for "Luke Viber - I love acid" next. I was re-appreciating how good was that old Aphex track and decided to check the comments, and they somehow brought me here (yay internet surf and shit). I start to listen to this G Jones, my mind explode as yours did I'm sure, and around 12 minutes into the set, I hear "808 State - Flow Coma (AFX Remix)" mixed with that fucking "Luke Viber - I Love acid" track. What else can be that amazing ? Thx dude Edit: fucking shit, I hadn't finished to listen to the set and I hear that joke I did about surfing on the internet on my comment above at the end. This is too huge Edit 2: i went to check again, "I love Acid" is said on 11:11 and as i'm writing we are the 11.11, and it happens to be the birthday of my mother.
this set displays such an incredible understanding of music theory. damn, dude. honestly, seeing someone flawlessly mix in venetian snares and his crazy time signatures (pretty sure circle pit is 7/8. sounds like it, plus he does a lot of stuff in 7s) is impressive enough. however, this whole set was incredible. greg never fails to deliver.
This is why I’ve loved him and EPROM for so long. I hate to sound so pretentious, but they honestly did bring a level of “intellectuality” and “culture” to EDM/bass music that was heavily missing for the most part.
We have officially entered the realm of Prog EDM. Greg, if you’re reading, just know that at least a small group understands what you did at 22:40 and we fuck with it HARD
This was an amazing set, and it felt like a true exploration of new territory for you. You seemed to really stretch your limits, and for me that what experimental bass music is all about. Wish I was still seeing you at Backwoods, but I’ll see you soon. Stay healthy and I’ll be watching you stream on 20/20 Global.

I lud dis sheeeeit. I'm so glad this cat caught on to all the rave , breaks, jungle, d n b, dub, acid, and etc vibes to combine them into a total mind melting package.
Keep pushing these boundaries! I cannot WAIT to see you live again. I was hesitant about G Jones only getting a half hour, but it's awesome to see how he can condense the madness of a G Jones set into 30 minutes. This is a great set to get people into G Jones for sure.
Truly the most creative set I've heard in a long time, from ANYBODY. Up there with Noisia's three-way live sets, honestly exceeds them. I loved the Ineffable Truth sets, but I knew you could get truly creative with your mix choices, transitions, variations in tunes, everything. I know this is a DJ set so it's different, but still. Thanks for something to lift our spirits. Also great choice with those instructional video samples. I had to watch that when I was little kid so this was extra special.
