I just want your family to know that you really helped me through rough times In 2020. You have been a really nice mood lifter and place to laugh and make you forgot about things happening around and makes me forgot about missing going to school and seeing my friends, and that kills me as a high schooler, So thank you so much!!

At this point I am genuinely worried that we will one day look back at 2020 as the good ole days when all we had to worry about was a world ending pandemic, a race war, and political discontent.
I am also worried that the carefree days of 2019 are gone. 2019 was hard because my baby had 2 surgeries at under one year old. I was glad we got through it and it was over. Hahaha I miss 2019
In the 1990s people worried about the Militia movement, which seemed extreme and scary - I don't think they intended that, but I thought they were scary. In 1995 Timothy McVeigh blew up Oklahoma City. Many people who were kind of sympathetic to the militia movement immediately distanced themselves from it and it lost followers.
My hope is that something similar will happen here. Most people, even if they have extreme views, don't want to be part of a violent riot.

The way I’m looking at this is 2020 started out fine and descended into h e double hockey sticks. Here in Australia 2020 started with devastating bushfires where I live, it was kind of an omen for the rest of the year. This year has started out much better here, so I'm hoping............

Feel better soon! I had Covid pneumonia last month and it was scary it took a month but I got through it. There is hope. Best thing to do is monitor your fever and if you have a pulse ox to monitor your oxygen. Also lung breathing exercises and the proning position. You will get better!!

I’m trying to do this online learning with my 6 year old daughter and it’s killing me. We live in Wales and trying to teach my daughter to speak the Welsh language from PowerPoint presentations from her teacher, well let’s say it’s exhausting. 1 - I’m a dyslexic dad with a scorching case of ADHD. 2. In Wales we have words like this - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - see my issue and yes that is all one word. Help!
You have my sympathy. And how does a language come up with a word like that? What does it mean? In hindsight, I think there should be a rule that limits the number of letters in a word. (I study ancient Egyptian writing; I will never again feel frustrated by it's difficulty.)

It means “St Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St Tysilio of the red cave”. This is officially the world’s second longest word with 58 letters.

Now have a wife who is tested positive for Covid, been a frontline worker we lived in fear all the time of this. I had lost my grandfather at the very beginning of this pandemic back in March, and to end my 2020 year, I was in a car accident. thankfully I am okay. But it was rough. You and your family have kept my spirits up through out this last year, and will continue to keep me smiling. love u guys!

Where I live in Quebec, the non-essential stores are closed, there is a curfew from 8pm to 5am, but the kids go to school (with masks on all the time from grades 5 to 11 (we don't have grade 12 here) and masks in common areas for grades 1 to 4). Most of us teachers were relieved to go back to school this week. We are hoping it goes well though one week in and we already have one class closing and going virtual. My school is lucky: it is only the second time since Sept that a class goes virtual for 2 weeks. Each of us are crossing our fingers that it will not be our class closing because virtual school is a lot less fun for everyone involved. I am sad to learn that your kids are in virtual school. Hopefully, it is going well. Thank you SO MUCH for your videos. Your songs do a whole lot of people a lot of good and making hard times seem much better. You are really doing amazing work. Keep up the positive attitude!

thanks for the efforts. After 39 yrs of nursing I am physically disabled so all I can do is remind people that healthcare workers are flesh and blood and can be completely exhausted working so many hours, under so much stress not to mention PPE is freaking hot.There is no home/work balance in the current situation so I worry for all the kids acting out because they are scared, parents so scared they may die.... all because people are not staying home like you and me or wearing masks when they have to go out. Wish for a song for the kids of healthcare.

This year is 100% killing me... my grandmother, father, and uncle passed last year. This year: My two brothers got COVID. My step mother had to be admitted to the hospital for high blood pressure. My sister might have cervical cancer. My BF and his fam got COVID. So... yeah... this year is turning out to be awesome....
