If you would take off your indian glasses, you would see enough women shopping in the bazaars. And by the way, Lahore has many modern areas too. She is in the old city and that part is even older than 18th century.

Nice to see free-range kids. One couple in Maryland (in my area, DC) let their kids go out and about together. Everyone called police, they were in the newspaper.

It's amazing how motor and pedestrian traffic are moving together. And the pedetrians don't seem concerned at all that motor bikes are weaving through them.
Isn't it like that in China as well? I've walked through streets, rode motorcycles through streets like that in China. For some reason most expats told me to ditch my motorcycles and start using taxis like they do. And when Covid hit, taxis and subways wouldn't take you unless you showed them your smartphone with 48 hour negative nucleic acid test.
Nice to see the hustle and bustle of busy Lahore streets! I wish you could go and ask people about what they are making ( food or whatever). So much varieties of street food. Much if them look so yummy. As you walk with your cam...some people give such blank stares, some very friendly smiles! At least there are no scammers to bother you. Well, the last guy at the end, quite scary. Just go to a shop full of men....he would go away! Greetings from Belgium
Very interesting would be that you choose someone from the street and let them try everything from street food (of course you pay). The interesting thing is what the person is going to choose and having explained that too
I am from India and as usual, keen to learn about Pakistan. In this video I have two observations: 1 initial part of the street is exact copy of Nai Sadak, Chandani Chowk ( This was created by the daughter of Shah Japan and her name was Rohan Ara) , Delhi. With few differences, we have more vegetarian food and one area is called PARATHA WALI GALI. Second difference is that I noticed very few females and those who are walking there are either old or very young kids . In Chandani Chowk you can see equal number of males and females. At around 25 mts in the video I noticed a very young kid with very fluffy hair who looked no more than 10 was riding a motorbike with another young kid sitting behind. How such an young kid is allowed to ride a motorbike.
