Yep, you're right, it's from a night-time fashion show cutscene. That cutscene has a lot of voice lines, so I think they intentionally made the OST a little bit simpler, so it doesn't get too distracting. If you want something more complex, I can recommend The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings.
Some context that I think you might find interesting in case you didn't already know which kind of plays into why this song is so japanese city pop - Chiori is from Inazuma/Definitely-Not-Japan, but she's made a life and home for herself in Fontaine/Definitely-Not-France as a boutique owner who's always on the cutting edge of Fontaine's fashion - often blending Inazuman and Fontainian inspiration into her works the same way City Pop once took Japan by storm with how it's a very particular twist on an originally very western brand of musical aesthetic 🇫🇷🇯🇵
Never Mind my previous Comment. I just remembered 2 songs I think you will enjoy. 1.Campa timoyetzticah, Cempaxochitl? ruclips.net/video/XhnsjgfzZPM/видео.html 2.Bequeathed to the Beloved ruclips.net/video/Z_cgBUkhFJY/видео.html Both from Natlan.
Great reaction, as always. This track is just sounds so chill for me. I can just listen to it non-stop. And yes, that Specialist part is prominent for my ears. I do like to hear some music theory from time to time, but that's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. In any case, i would like to recommend to listen to "Floor it! To the Golden City" from Reverse 1999.
I would be interesting to hear more of the music theory stuff, Even I didn't play any instrument myself. It make me appeicate more when I know how much of the effort was put into the piece that I liked. So if you have listen to something and have anything to add, Feel free to do that. Also I would like to recommend the "Benediction of Dreams". The song is a bit short but it have a lot of impact on me, and more with the context.
I don't have anything Else Guys for the moment I had whole list for me to recommend but I accidentally Deleted App data for my notes 😢. I will return next week. 😈

You should listen to 115 by Elena Siegman. The drummer goes apeshit in it😏
As if I haven't been playing that song since 2010
