Pro tip: Flood the screen first! You lightly pull the squeegee across the design without pressure, just to "flood" the mesh with paint -- then, pull with pressure.
Oh my goodness, thank you. So to make I get this: add ink above the design (like I was doing), then kind of drag (without pressing the squeegee down at all), and then go back and pull. Okay, I'm going to try this!! thank you
We've only done two so far. We have washed them 3-4 times and they're still like when we printed them. We did wait for 48 hours to wash them the first time so the ink could set.
In my kit, I have 12 so I haven't yet bought any to check the quality / shipping /etc on them. That said, I know they answered (in one of their lives) that you can actually strip the screens you have and add emulsion liquid yourself. Apparently, there isn't too much that is special about the actual goo, just the process of them coming ready.
That’s good to know it’s easily repurposed. I’d hate to be forced to buy from them and fall into the inkjet printer business model where ink cost more than the printer!@@SarahNenniDaher

So are the mesh screens reusable or do you have to buy new ones from xTool?
You can definitely reuse them by stripping and adding emulsion. You'd have to wait for them to dry the traditional way (or heat them up).
