    Tutat has a very connected concepts style. You can see the pathway between each of his transitions before he makes them. Also the speed changes and texture he uses with his patterns are expected. He's dope, I don't want it to sound like am dissing him. But he's limiting his own potential. Asides from the fact Future is more dynamic with his king tut style, he adds more texture, whole body incorporation and more unpredictable transitions. It's a similar issue I had with tutat Vs 2face. Dope battle though. I love tutting

    Tutat has that intricate style, but Future got him on character and the whole body dancing. Hopefully this will get Tutat to incorporate more of that into his style. When we saw him in Japan, he was really dope, but he often stayed in one spot tutting when moving around would have made it so much more exciting. Both dope, but Future win.

      I don't think that should matter, when you watch a lot of turfing they stand in the 1 spot a lot. Same with a lot of boppers they often stand still a lot too, look at what he's doing not what he isn't doing. His tuts are crazy and he's obviously using his upper body so judge what his upper body is doing not what his lower body is doing. It's like a person doing robot/bopping and then saying they need more boogaloo, you can't judge a person based off what they aren't doing

      Well said, a lot of times people mistake stylistic and vocabulary preferences as a kind of weakness. To add to your list of examples, you can see many Asian dancers have a more nuanced styled with layered rhythm plays and varied subtlties, while many European dancers have clearer, stronger and pronounced movements and pops (you could even say that one looks better in a smaller room and the other looks more fitting for a bigger stage); US dancers more faithful to the EB movements and Korean dancers emphasizing developing their own reservoir of movements; trickster dancers like Salah who dance with long pre-designed sequences that are honed to absolute perfection and dancers who dance with smaller "components" putting them together on the spot; dancers like Greenteck whose dance has a strong persona with figurative movements and dancers like Gucchon who, despite has a strong character nonetheless, is a more on the abstract side and more into the infinite variations of rhythm, speed, and control. Personally I thought that was a draw - Future has clear concepts and all the concepts flow into each other, but there were just too many repetitions and the movements were not exactly responding to the music other than staying on beat. Tutat is a bit more responsponsive to the music (I loved that little pause near the end), I also always give credit for a higher concentration of concepts because it takes a lot more intelligence to make a complex style work than a simpler and minimal style, but he did have some sequences that are a bit muddled

      @@iamshashu but you know Tutat can do even more with the style he's been doing. Like I've been seeing Tutat does the same movements every time and that's just boring. Everyone already knows Future is a beast for sure, but one fact we cannot deny is that Tutat's style doesn't stop at just it. So I'm looking forward to some of his stuff in his package in the near future.

      @@NinjaKiller999 his tutting wasn't better than tutat, I know what future can do and how good he can tut and this wasn't his best was doing very basic tuts and tutats tuts were better. If this was a tutting battle tutat would of won and it basically was a tutting battle because both did tuts most their rounds

    • @thaimai2353
      @thaimai2353 4 года назад +6

      Future's tutting has more groove and dancing, so many popper forget that tutting is dancing too. Tutat just stand and tut. But Future was using full body and add more groove

    • @GrowingDownUnder
      @GrowingDownUnder 4 года назад +3

      @@NinjaKiller999 I disagree, tutat was still dancing and I wouldn't say futures dancing was better only his footwork. But then tutat had better tutting and higher level of difficulty. Tutat was grooving and dancing and I don't understand why people say things like "future was dancing with his tuts" because tutat was as well. It's just different styles and if you prefer futures style then all good everyone likes different things i'm a fan of future too but with that said I also know what he can do and he can do better than this you can often tell when a dancer isn't doing their best and tutat was flowing with tuts at a very fast speed doing some really difficult tuts that not many tutters can do and then future just seemed like he wasn't really trying or having a bad day he held back too much and was doing a lot of basic stuff.

    • @Pepsezzz
      @Pepsezzz 4 года назад +3

      @@GrowingDownUnder Tutat is a master tutter but Futures round was way better overall. Polyrhythmic timing with different parts of the body supersedes any tutting and not many people on the planet can do that. Future is one of the lucky ones.

    • @ryanturner8577
      @ryanturner8577 4 года назад +5

      @@GrowingDownUnder One style will never full on win major battles. Tutting and minimal dancing vs. Tutting, gliding, dancing with rutting, using the whole stage, strobing with tutting at the end. Tutats concepts and straight up tutting was better, but future just showed him way more versatility in tutting, plus danced. That will always win in a standard popping battle contest.
      It's one thing if his tutting is better that everything the other dancer does, but against top dancers it won't get you that far.
