Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance, but why no hand protection when handling the insulation?

Good question Jeni. Insulation doesn't bother me as much any more. When I do a job with insulation I usually just make sure I have something on my face. Then when I'm done I clean up and jump directly into the shower to wash off.
