Asthma Primary Care Webinar 2 - Asthma in Practice

The Child Health and Wellbeing Network is excited to present two Asthma Primary Care Interactive Webinars to support the ELfH online training.
Both sessions are underpinned by the E-Learning for Health online training, and aim to provide interactive support to professionals to support to embed the theory in terms of actual delivery in primary care. They consist of short presentations followed a discussion. The sessions are hosted on the NENC Healthier Together platform for future reference and as a guide for those who couldn’t attend.

Asthma in Practice
With Laura Self, Carol Barwick, Clare Caygill, Nichola Jackson and others from the NENC ICS Asthma Leadership Group
This session is aimed at practice nurses, pharmacists and anyone who regularly delivers asthma reviews. It covers practical advice on the development and delivery of Personalised Asthma Action Plans, identification of the correct inhalers and spacers for children and young people, engagement of the unengaged and target patients to improve implementation of the 48 hour review. This session shares good practice and examples and invites colleagues to share their ideas, successes and challenges.
