You need a mob as a passenger of the display entity, and you can ride it, but I dont think you can do that without a mob

You can use the Passenger tag to make entities ride other entities

As far as I know, You can't really add a display entity as a passenger on a pig or a tamed horse with a saddle. The guizmo just won't show up on axiom when it's on a mob as a passenger. If the mob itself is set as the passenger of the display entity, then you have a guizmo to attatch your own custom entity to it, and thus the horse; only problem is, you can't move the mob, since it is the passenger.
Closest I got to getting a display entity on a custom mob is
/summon horse ~ ~ ~ {Temper:1,NoAI:1,Tame:1,SaddleItem:{id:saddle,Count:1},Passengers:[{Minecraft:block_display}]}
But the guizmo doesn't show up.
The mob as the passenger, that can't move, but has a guizmo:
/summon minecraft:block_display ~ ~ ~ {Passengers:[{id:horse,Variant:769,SaddleItem:{id:saddle,Count:1},Tame:1,NoAI:1}]}

​@@339blackdiamondI'm glad you edited your first message, I'm not bsing anybody, you just don't understand the concept. There are couple things wrong with the things you tried. First of all, why do you need the gizmo? The display entity should already be grouped together and don't need to change it anymore. 2nd, how do you expect a horse to move if it has the noAI tag? Also if you have a display entity on a horse, you can use the ride command to jump on it. I also released all of these commands

You don't need the ride command, a horse with a saddle with no AI can move just fine. The horse needs no AI or else it'll walk away from the entity, even when grouped together.
An entity guizmo with a horse as a passenger, will render the horse imoveable.
you can't put your entity as a passenger- the summon command of ANY display entity leaves 7 characters in the command.
Not possible bud.
You can't group a display entity to a horse, it has no guizmo to group them together. Make sense man.

@@339blackdiamond because you're not grouping them together with gizmos. You edit the command for summoning the horse and add the display entity as passenger. cant say its not possible because I did it a lot of times and people who downloaded the map used it too
