Unless I’ve missed it in each video I’ve seen, how do you determine the approximate length for the runs? Is there math or just a WAG and cut off the rest? I’ve seen you use a three column mandrel and a four column mandrel. What is the indication of which to select?
with globe knots is there a way to determine a mandrel that would give you a desired number of facets? so if you wanted a ball with say 30 facets, you would need "this setup", etc.
I find that if make my mandrill close or slightly larger than the object inside it will come out close. If not enough I will modify it by interlacing another cord to fill the gaps. I have several different size mandrills with different hole patterns.
Thank you for the run list. That will make tying this so much easier.
Pretty straight forward, I like that. Thanks for sharing this. 👍🏻
I have been using 550 for years making specialty items that I sell. I never wanted to use other sizes until now. This looks great and fun. Thank you
Well done tutorial. Great results! Thanks.
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. Wish you well.

Marco, can you cover an egg like this with regular 550 paracord?!? I mean, can you make up some kind of covering for it?
I am going to give it a shot.
