= The parking garage at TCU is made with tube steel and expanded metal. I don't think any tornado could damage it, and if it also had an expanded metal roof I don't think anything inside would get damaged. This is relatively inexpensive construction.

Yeah that's not junk but what's left of those people's property. People have storm shelters built in these states that have tornados yearly. You always say it want happen to you but it does. A direct hit with a tornado is deadly. Don't think you are safe in your home anywhere. Build a tornado shelter. I see these big homes but wheres the storm shelter.

A lot of central Texas is on bedrock. It's very expensive to dig here. Of course it's worth it but only if you have that money.
