Tom, the French league has this bug where the ball stays orange for the whole second half of the season. You can change it easily in settings! Just put the color of the winter ball white as well.

If I were you, I’d keep Appiah on for at least one more year. Since you have a lot of new positions you want to fill and new players you want to bring in, Appiah scoring the goal to have you draw against PSG should at least get him some immunity at least for a little while. Especially considering Esteves being injured or sent off at points in the season and he was starting for you. Also, keep in mind you don’t want to entirely tank squad cohesion.

Hey Tom, I really enjoy your content, but I gotta say, sometimes, I feel it's quite hard to follow the red/orange ball sometimes (e.g after the cross at 12:30 , I had no idea where the ball went until it turned out to be a goal kick). Could you please switch back to a white football to make it easier?

It's a bug in the French league. The ball stays orange the whole second half of the season. You (and Tom) can fix this easily by going to settings and changing the color of the winter ball to white as well. How did SI managed to screw this up I have no idea.
