I like how there's a barrier between the train and the platform. Not sure why American cities don't do this.

Because the US is very poor in public infrastructure building. The subways and public transportation in the US is like a third world country.

One suggestion about the SIM cards at the airport-- try to book your SIM card with KT a few days prior to arrival. I didn't get mine on the first night because I didn't know what plan I would need yet and the prices in person were definitely more expensive. It's best to go online and book it/pay for it and then going to pick it up at the airport or other locations.
Two apps that you will need while in Korea, Papago for translation and KakaoMaps or Naver Maps for directions or even food recommendations.

Lol! First time watching your videos but you’ll enjoy Korea a lot. I loved it when I lived there. If you use NAVER maps and type in things like chicken you should be able to locate places even if it’s in Korean.
Also, dude, make sure to try dakgalbi and Jjimdak if you can handle spicy foods. They are my favorite Korean chicken dishes.

But it is expensive and not a bargain like other SE Asian countries, unless you backpack and live in hostels. Enjoy and as a solo traveler you might get lucky with the local ladies. At least you will be safe.

The last stop on the blue line is Camp Casey, 1 hour from the North Korean border. They have an organized, fast clean system. I scratch my head when I'm back in the US. The US needs an update on the infrastructure. Their Korean BBQ's are top notch! Let me know if you have any questions, have fun exploring!!

It is funny, Koreans automatically assume an African American doing in South Korea, he must be serving in the US military base there. By the way, are you working or just touring in Asian countries? You are lucky because most Americans do travel outside of the US. That is the reason, they feel lost when they are outside of countries, especially when they are in countries that English is not the spoken language. I hope you will use the opportunity of traveling in Asian countries to enrich your knowledge and experience about the world and Asian cultures and history in particular.

I'm used to see the airport in Seoul South Korea that empty. Coming from the Eastern part of the U.S. as I would be; it leaves me needing to time my connecting flights so I arrive in the A.M. to the Philippines. If not I don't arrive until Midnight or so; at which point you'll find yourself more than likely (debating) with you local taxi driver; as he'll assume it's you first visit, you're tired from the flight, and willing to pay "SPECIAL RATES" just to get from the airport to a hotel to rest your head.

Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED."
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
