Damn, not a single one of their slower songs on this set. What an insane crowd! I can only imagine how tired they were going home. This band does no wrong!
A 90,000 seater stadium with pyrotechnics, flashing screens, costume changes or this? I'd take this every single time. Well done Madrid, you rocked out!!!!
Yeah but the band get paid a fuck ton for those big shows which they deserve and keeps them around. If your that good of a band you need to level up to bigger venues. I'm so glad they got tour with blink. If there not moving on stage so what? They sound amazing. I do prefer intimate shows - but both types are cool and have their place...saw BMTH in January and damn those production values were awesome and the whole thing was really fun. But yeah, I prefer a few hundred people in a no barrier venue for most shows haha
Roam will forever be the best song from The Story So Far ever. It hits live EVERY SINGLE TIME. Every time I have seen them the crowds energy is unmatched.
On festivals, they are more focused on sharing their songs, might come as a surprise, but they're not AC/DC. And when you're on a festival, hearing a new band where the singer just throws it out for the crowd, not really a great experience. Other than that, yeah, it's a totally different vibe. Can't compare stage diving shows. That being said, he killed it at the blink tour. Other than that, you can note that he stays more still on the harder songs, but god damn he sings it perfectly. Big Blind and Proper Dose are such highlights.
@@LoneWanderer905exactly, I for one would much rather see him hitting the notes and not sounding out of breath. I saw them way back in the day, he was still good back then but the more chill performance helps him sound 100% better. I care way more about sounding like you do on the album rather than how energetic the performance is
@joemiller2205 what's the point of spending the time and money to just hear an album sound-a-like with no energy? The whole point of concerts is the fun and energy
yes but not on the stage, as a prior musician it got tiring having people jump on the stage and stomping on your pedals, modellers, etc. That crap ain't free.. barely 1:00 in and the guitarist gets smacked in the mouth with the mic.
I got 14 minutes into watching this thinking "wow, usually Story Of The Year plays more of their older stuff, I haven't recognised a single song yet.. actually come to think of it, this doesn't even look like Story Of The Year..." It took my dumb ass 14 minutes to realise this was The Story So Far. I've also learnt today I fucking dig this band.
One of my favorite bands for over a decade now. It's so refreshing to see them do good everywhere they go. Wish I was there. They deserve these crowds. I went to 3 blink shows during this past European tour and it was just me and a few other people actually enjoying ourselves when tssf played. So seeing this makes me really happy.
Just imagine how proud they must feel to go to another country with a different language and their people like your music so much that they sing the fucking GUITAR PARTS. That was so cool
I remember when The Glass came out as a second single. It was fucking surreal. Everybody and I mean everybody involved with pop punk or the warped tour scene was the #1 talked about thing at that time.
MOB and TSSF were both on huge rotation for me during high school. So cool to see Nik Bruzzese still active in the music scene. His backup vocals are perfect for them.
He's very much active even when not touring! He's a producer at the Gradwell House and there's SO MANY bands with great sound that are produced by him, dude's a legend. Also, HARD DISAGREE on him taking away from the vocals. I do prefer Kevin's voice, but I bet Kevin prefers Nik singing and he still does the classic parts.

The ultimate intro song
It’s Swords and Pens for me. Not broke, just bent. Tattooed on my arm
All Wrong is the best
this is the craziest crowd i’ve ever seen at a tssf show they’re literally singing the lead guitar parts
Ya tssf going global like this is honestly wild 🤯
@@seanygee333they've been global for years my dude.
This set is great, but check their set at 924 Gilman from 2012. That shit was wild
@@boldcityanthony i’ve seen it and this is still crazier to me. I’ve never heard a crowd literally sing the lead guitar parts

You can tell Parker thrives in smaller crowd concerts, those are the best. Bigger venues, he is a statue.

I wish fans in America still went this hard at concerts.
Right !!!! I only see one idiot on his phone.

I only see maybe 2 phones the whole time. WHAT A GIG. MADRID IS THE PLACE TO BE.
8:14 the nicest, most gentle "get the fuck off the stage" tackle ever.
Bros almost got in trouble once cuz of a more "brutal" kick off the stage 😂
every concert I see from spain, these people go absolutely batshit crazy. love it
When you take siestas, don’t work and smoke cigarettes all day- one builds up enough energy to go “crazy” for a couple hours of the day.
@@Mcmacpaddywackyou needed to add some bullfighting and tacos eating to be a complete asshole, but a 8/10 asshole is still pretty good.
Parker sounds great. This is one of his better live performances I’ve heard.
It’s easier to sing if you stand completely still

Great crowd! One of the best in recent memory.
the band was surprised by this crowd. SMILES from all of them. Incredible!
This is one of the best live performances I’ve seen. Thanks for capturing! Fucking sick.
This show gives me so much serotonin, when Roam starts and everyone starts singing the lead riff is incredible 😂
I went to Madrid just for this show and I don't regret a tiny bit !!!
can we appreciate Mike Ambrose’s “In The Air Tonight” drum fill at 53:07 (and also the slight tempo shift afterwards) 🥵
Gracias por el recuerdo de uno de los mejores conciertos que he vivido
Lejos uno de los mejores conciertos no solo de tssf si no del punk en general.

first time i got covid 19 was from a story so far concert. 2 years ago in PHX. I'd do it again too

Love seeing Torf on the geet, he’s such a crucial part to how well this band ticks

One of the best pop punk drummers moves to guitar in a band that already has enough. I don't get it!
He had major hip surgery my dude
