What's magnificent about both of them is that they played two different versions of joker opposite to their ages impeccably. Joaquin Phoenix aged 45 plays the younger joker when Heath ledger around 28 played the older one.

I don't agree with you, because Heath Ledger needs someone to mess around for, which is Batman. His Joker needs a reason to make chaos, and by defying Batman to turn himself in, he makes a lot of crimes in the city, all for one suited person. I cannot see this type of Joker in a solo movie, I think it wouldn't be good enough.

To be honest, I didn't knew how similar those lines were. I was surprised to see how good they matched in the end. What a masterpiece, both of these characters and their actors.
In the original script he cuts his face with the broken car windows at the end of the movie. But it was too gory in the end. So disappointing. That would have made much more sense. And the movie explained why he told us different stories about getting the scars. I think at the time when he's telling the story he believes it himself.

Theory, the new joker is how he started and then in the 2008 joker he had cut the scars into his mouth in between the few years and the joker had finally embraced the chaos and used some people from the riots in the 2019 film to help him wihr the events in the 2008 film
Well the director of Joker said that the 2019 film is not meant to be connected to the 2008 film, but ether way it can be very likely true, but I kinda considered Arthur Fleck from Joker 2019 to be a possible true identity for Jigsaw from Saw. The other appointment for that theory is the 1971 Willy Wonka, but Kevin McCallister as an appointment for that theory will not count considering the age difference between the two decades of each film.

Well the director of Joker said that the 2019 film is not meant to be connected to the 2008 film, but ether way it can be very likely true, but I kinda considered Arthur Fleck from Joker 2019 to be a possible true identity for Jigsaw from Saw. The other appointment for that theory is the 1971 Willy Wonka, but Kevin McCallister as an appointment for that theory will not count considering the age difference between the two decades of each film.
